   This was the first time I ordered from this place. The food had a terrible flavour, but we were hungry so we ate it. One main dish was missing. I reported the missing item to them, but they didn’t refund the full price of the food. A little later I started to feel sick and vomited everything. We will never order from here again.

   Great food, shame about the awful service. Two times in a row now there has been part of our order missing. First time, missing rice, phoned them, said they’d refund to the bank account within a few days. Never happened, but didn’t bother as the £4 wasn’t worth the hassle. Now today, missed the chicken balls. Phoned up, said they can’t redeliver out but have to contact deliveroo. Not like it was cheap either, around £10. In my opinion deliver the missing food or instantly refund. Shame because the food is great but twice it’s happened now unfortunately won’t return!

   Ordered via Just Eat last Friday. 50% off promotion there for Black Friday!! Hurrah!! Only thing - Oriental Chef (and I suspect many others) had virtually doubled their Just Eat menu prices that night compared to the ones on their own website. What is the point of a 50 per cent off promotion with all the prices doubled for it? £20 for a portion of quarter crispy duck?!! £11 for a portion of soggy flavourless chicken balls, £5.50 etc. etc… It made the whole point of a so called ‘bargain promotion’ absolutely pointless. Left a very sour taste in the mouth, literally. Well, not right away, as the very average food arrived late, and other than the prawn crackers, luke warm. I remember not so many years ago when this take away restaurant sent out great food, hot and quickly. Possibly in our most recent experience a victim of their own success now. Very disappointing best describes it. I wouldn’t use them again now.

   I wouldn’t order the udon noodles unless you want a tub full of bean sprouts and a handful of noodles and a few pieces of chicken. Not worth the price at all! The food however was nice tasting, the spring rolls were nice and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The chicken fillets were cooked nicely and not rubbery and had a nice crumb on the outside.

   Been having chinese from here for the past fifteen years always been the best but after last nights offering which was very poor quality meat, soggy chicken balls greasy tasteless with no meat chow main and cold we will never use oriental chef again. What's gone wrong? It used to have such a fantastic reputation.

   Great Food, Quick Delivery, also a very varied menu. I've never had a problem personally, I've ordered from here about 6-7 times now and never had an issue but I know my aunt wasn't impressed with the prawns a couple weeks ago so maybe its a prawn thing or just an off week, who knows... PS. The Cheesecakes are spot on! don't knock um till you've tried them.

   After a long day at work, we order delivery and arrived within 45 minutes, the food was hot and fresh, very tasty! Staff was friendly, we would 100% order again, one of the best Chinese we had in a long time! well done x

   3.0 average review is crazy for this place. Ordered from them for over 10 years, I often pick up rather than wait delivery, but have experienced delivery from them. Not had issues, they do standard (British) Chinese food, but have so unique dishes too. Quality great, prices food. Not sure why the average is so low based on my many years of experience with them.
