We have just got back from the most amazing meal we have eaten in a long while. Lovely old building that looks like it has many stories to tell in those walls. We stumbled across accidently and we're very lucky to get a table for two as it was full! I had the pork and my husband ordered the duck which came with ample amounts of vegetables. We also had dessert and now feel like a podged pig! Service was amazing and the ladies were so lovely. Make sure you book a table!!!

Cosy venue with great service and fantastic food. The chunky Cornish "soup" is delicious and the "posh beef & reef" has a fantastic selection of sea food with the fillet - the scallops in both dishes are super sweet. Brilliant evening.

An absolutely lovely place to eat, steeped in history with a cute dining room. I'm here for seafood on vacation and seafood is what I had! It was surprisingly busy for a quiet Looe Tuesday evening, with a lovely atmosphere. Fantastic meals, among the best I've ever eaten, its really that good. All over the room i could see taste-smiles. Thoroughly recommend the Smuggler's Cott.

Loved the atmosphere, never seen anything like it. Food was ok, a little pricey for what was a little bit of pub grub, however, that seems to be a theme in Looe. I would definitely go again as it was one of the best in Looe. I was really pleased they had gluten free options available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Smugglers Cott. I had the duck and my wife had the Hake. We had a full dinner and feel that they delivered outstanding value for money.

We were very lucky to get a table here on a busy Sunday lunchtime. The staff were very accommodating for 2 adults and a young child. We had the roast dinners which were absolutely delicious! Very generous with the sides and gravy portion. We also shared a dessert which was great too! Would highly recommend :)

Wonderful restaurant. Very friendly staff. Good choice of food. According to history at the back of the menu, it is built from salvaged timber from the Armada. There's even a wheel from a ship on the ceiling. Narrow stairs, low ceilings all add to the atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.

Have had a few wonderful meals at the Smugglers Cott in Looe. This particular meal was a month ago (April 2022), and was excellent! I bought my visiting parents to Smugglers, and they loved it! Between us we had a mixture of different meals, but the Shellfish Medley and the Scallops went down particularly well! We had the whole downstairs to ourself and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend the Smugglers Cott to anyone looking for an honest meal out in Looe. Will be back soon, I’m sure. Thanks.

Arguably the best restaurant in Looe. Quality food presented well. The two servers we had were also great, we (me and my Mrs) never had to call them over for anything and we were greeted with a smile when we arrived. Some reviews saying this restaurant is expensive, what people need to understand is this is not a chain pub/restaurant, it serves quality fresh well cook and presented food. If you want cheap go to nandos. We both had 3 courses (I had the most expensive meal on the menu) and 3 alcoholic drinks each and the bill was £101 which I think for the quality is reasonable. Very good experience, we will be coming back.

The restaurant is in a lovely setting, the food is amazing and very friendly staff. Very cute inside and well preserved place. You'll have to visit and see for yourself. I definitely would recommend. Very good prices for the roast, We had to book the table in advance by phone, which was hustle free. I can't complain
