   Service was shockingly slow, two coffees , two toasties.... almost abandoned food at the till. Staff did seem pleasant, felt expensive for what we had.

   If you’re craving a breakfast that makes you question every decision that led you to that moment, then look no further than Morrisons Café. I ordered via Uber Eats, but what showed up at my door felt more like a passive-aggressive warning from the universe than a meal. The sausages? Beautifully tragic. Flattened like someone used them as stress balls during a staff meeting. They had all the charm of a soggy shoe sole and the flavor to match. The bacon? Oh, just a delightful piece of jerky that must’ve been marinated in disappointment and then left out in the sun to contemplate its life choices. And then we have the toast. Dry. Soulless. Not a trace of butter in sight. It was like biting into a slice of cardboard that had dreams once but gave up somewhere around 2005. I guess butter is now a luxury item, reserved only for royalty or people who didn’t order from Morrisons Café. And let’s not talk about the eggs. Seriously. Because whatever those things were, they were only “eggs” in the loosest, most legally questionable sense. Rubbery, overcooked, and flavourless like someone had Googled “how to ruin eggs” and followed the guide to perfection. I’ve seen more appealing textures in packing foam. And of course, shoutout to the Store Manager Jason the beacon of customer service excellence. When I brought up the state of the meal, he shrugged it off with a classic, “You’ll have to take that up with Uber.” Brilliant. Nothing says leadership like passing the buck faster than the toast went stale. Apparently, Uber Eats now controls the cooking, the packaging, and the lack of basic human decency. All in all, a once in a ifetime experience because I’ll never make the mistake of ordering from there again.

   First time visit to Morrison's cafe. I agree with the other comments about extra staff are needed here. The young lady behind the counter was rushed off her feet ( deserves a pay rise ) taking orders, bringing out food and drink and stocking up the condiments / cutlery section. You can order using the machine at the front ( paying by card ) or use the app. I prefer paying in cash at the till. Had the veggie breakfast ( without the avocado ) and the breakfast was ok, I've had better and I've had worse. Plenty of tables to accommodate everyone and screens between tables for social distancing. Prices are reasonable and is a great place to stop and have a lazy breakfast before the weekly shopping trip. It was about 1/2 full this Sunday morning. 1 Point of note, the A board outside says veggie breakfast is £5 but the menu ( and they charge you ) says £5.99!?

   I have visited the cafe in morrisons wallows Road a few times over the last couple of months. The service gets worse everytime I go. Have to wait about 10 minutes before anyone comes out of the kitchen to serve you then never got anything on the menu. When going to milk and cutlery area there is never any and have to ask. Waiting time far to long. After speaking to staff there today its obvious the problem is not enough staff. No wonder there's never many customers in there.
