I recently booked an ‘Afternoon Tea’ at Little Taste of Heaven for me and a friend. Upon arrival, we were shown to our table and offered a choice of either tea or coffee. We were given our hot drinks, and what seemed to be warm squash in a martini glass. The ‘Afternoon Tea’ (as shown in the picture) was underwhelming. Per person, it included 4 small sandwiches (egg mayo, ham, tuna and grated cheese), a 6th of a pork pie, one scone, a tiny pot of cream, a butterfly cupcake, chocolate cake/brownie, and a small bowl of salad, crisps and jam to share. The sandwiches were thin and tasteless. The cakes and scones were definitely shop-brought: they were dry and bland. The crisps were poor quality and mostly broken up. The jam tasted cheap. The inside of the metal stand had serving tissues layered inside to hide some rusting. The portion size and quality of the food does not justify the £16pp price for the afternoon tea. The on-site toilet looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. There was a thick layer of dust/sediment on all surfaces, insects stuck to the walls, stains on the floor, and the toilet had previous users’ waste inside/around the bowl and seat. The staff were friendly and attentive, but we did have to ask for our tea to be refilled. The inside of the cafe is pretty and the gift items within the shop are lovely. However, since the movement of interior walls, etc, it feels like you are sat in a decorated shed: nothing like the other review photos. It was not a relaxing or cosy environment. Upon payment, we were charged £16.99pp. I questioned this with a staff member who said, “Oh, it is £16.99 per person but I often tell people the wrong price haha, I’ll only take £16 from you”. She then charged me £16, and my friend £16.99. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and we will not be returning to or recommending Little Taste of Heaven.

Lovely place, friendly service and delicious food. They have worked hard to make this an inviting space and it's worked! Highly recommend. I've had several visits over a few years and loved it every time. The afternoon tea is always a treat

Hidden away, in the centre of Kingswinford, we discovered this little taste of heaven. If you're local, or passing by, I highly recommend stopping by and treating yourself and your partner. The staff here are exceptional. Very friendly and incredibly welcoming. I am a heavily tattooed man with a bushy beard, but they treated me like an old friend popping round for breakfast. The prices are fair as this is no greasy spoon cafe, this is a place to relax and enjoy a peaceful moment, an escape from the Hussle and Hussle of life. In site is a small but beautiful gift shop selling greeting cards, candles, and various kitchen accessories (oven gloves etc) Do yourself a favour, stop by for a coffee and meet the wonderful staff, you'll be glad you did.

Nice place. Food good. Only downside it's dog friendly..... Didn't appreciate dogs owner letting animal lick cream from spoon, cup and saucer.

Such a lovely friendly cafe. However if visiting in the winter months wear something warm . You will be eating in a marquee. It is heated but it is still quite chilly.

Shame about the scones. I have never given an unfavourable review before as I always mention issues direct to the staff however my comment was brushed off. I had the savoury tea which is usually a cheese scone with pickle. When it arrived I was pleased to see two scones, pickle, side salad , two pats of butter and strangely, a small pot of warm melted cheese. That didn't bother me as I felt putting melted cheese on plain scones would suffice. However, I realised the scones were made with sugar. They were sweet, very sweet. So I polished off the first scone, now hard cheese and salad and had just butter on the second scone. Still sweet. After I paid the bill I mentioned that they had mistakenly served sweet scones instead of plain ones, just so they were aware that it didn't happen to another customer. The waitress said that was right. They didn't have cheese scones so sweet ones were normally served with cheese. I said it wasn't normal to serve sweet scones with cheese. She said it is. I gave up then. I may return but won't ask for cheese scones! Otherwise the place is clean and friendly.
