   I decided to take my mom and brother out for food and we saw the one man&his dog and as soon as we stepped inside it felt so welcoming. The workers was so polite and respectful and made sure everything was okay and that we was okay. We ordered a mixed grill, surfer and turth and a kid cheese burger meal and when I tell you it was the best food we have ever tasted. The steak just melts in your mouth and the scampi was 10/10. The kids meal was amazing for £6!!!! The burger is juicy and thick and the chips was amazing. The drinks are cheap aswell I would highly recommend!!!!!!!! Definitely coming back.

   Lovely pub, plenty to choose from on the menu, Excellent lunchtime meals 1-3pm I had the mixed grill it was massive, lovely steak and chips. There's an outdoor bit for those with little kids , and plenty of outdoor seating. Recommend the lamb hotpot.

   Had my reservations about coming again as last year it wasn't so good when we went but thought I'd try it after seeing some fb posts. Was pleasantly surprised , the pub is very clean and tidy inside and out, even the gents toilets smelt nice ! Food was a great price and portion was massive, very tasty. The staff were friendly, chatty and smiley lovely to see behind a bar and made to feel very welcome. Becki was lovely, we were made to feel very welcome. A breath of fresh air and will definitely be back for food and drinks.

   This was my first visit to the One man and his dog after it has been taken over. I had heard great things regarding service, food and the great atmosphere and cosmetic uplift inside. However, nothing could have prepared me for what I actually experienced. We were late booking our table due to it being an off chance we decided to go for food. The bar staff were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome and the service we received was outstanding. Not only did the staff go out of their way to make us feel comfortable, but they could not help us more if they tried. Furthermore, the food we received and enjoyed was exquisite, the flavours and quality of food was nothing I had experienced from The one man and his dog before. The variety and quality is but one reason I shall be returning to the one man and his dog, for many occasions to come. I have already booked my annual Christmas meal with life long friends, as I want to share the experience I received with those I hold dear to me. I can only thank everyone who made my night so special and look forward to future visits.

   Very friendly atmosphere and barkeeper. Good food and drinks. There was even a quiz for all guests. It was a nice evening. The only minus is for ugly toilets.

   Hidden gem of a marstons pub . Food is exceptional. We have eaten there 4 times in the last few months and the food has been to high standard every time. Service is given with a genuine smile and meaning. The staff are trying to build up the reputation to match the hard work they are putting into the pub. It's a marstons eatery come bar also . No frills but clean tidy and comfortable. It's has tellys and pool table but that does not effect the relaxing dining experience. We haven't eaten outside as of yet as the weather hasn't been its best from first sight they have an amazing outside covered area with outside bar which I imagine would be lovely in the summer. Iam very happy to recommend the one man and his dog to anyone .

   First impressions the new decor was good. However, the pool table area was ridiculously loud. The beer was good and we had no problem finding a table. The meal was an anticlimax out of 7 diners 3 were ok but not great the 2 were ok and 2 were appalling. The wait for food was far too long considering the fact that there was only one other table dining. The meal was transport cafe standard at best.
