   Firstly, it’s a pub that serves lunches. It’s not a restaurant that serves alcohol. Secondly, it’s a proper pub. The food is always excellent: hot, fresh, huge, delicious, and extremely good value. The beer is always very good too. I’ve been coming once a month for several years and I’ve never been disappointed.

   Great little old boozer oldie worldy log fire not now its too hot lovelly barmaid if yam allowed to say that these days good size beer garden plenty seating over the road from an old fresh water well unused now decent beers an coffee very relaxed place even got a dart board well worth a visit its about a two minute walk from the canal too we went today an will be goin again its a little treasure

   Nice night out with friends,great welcoming bar staff and owners ,beer was kept well ,footy on big tv open fire cobs looked fab didn't have any but will next time what more could you ask for. We did come back for Mark kershaws 65th birthday night celebrations again great ale kept perfect TV footy on and we did try the cobs,they were fabulous Jp

   So MUST add that, to me the GREEN MAN served "my kind of meal' marvelous and Gorgeously tasting/ HOME STYLE cooked meals. I must be counted in this review.    Had a lovely meal with the wife and a guest ale. The food was amazing and the portion size was just as good. The staff are friendly and I could not fault my wife's birthday meal. We both enjoyed it a propper pub we have already decided to go again next week.
