Staff on boxing day 2025 were so horrible and rude. Apsolutly no empathy or customer service skills. Really saddened by my experience
Shop shuts at 6.. went upstairs at 5:45 to find a top, to be closed I had to leave because they 'close the top floor early' ridiculous, if the shop shuts at 6, how the hell can you kick customers out before that? Pathetic
Excellent service from the guy with the hand tattoo/spiky bracelet (didn't remember his name but think it began with a T? Trey?) - great stuff! Could do with more of a range of womens formalwear though, would've loved to buy some things for the work party like a nice suit but sadly they don't seem to do them in store - a bit surprising, as you'd think people would be going in person to try/buy the more expensive/special purchases. Will be returning :)
Charlotte here who served my daughter and I a few minutes ago is exceptionally excellent. She was very professional, helpful, friendly and was excellent at teaching her new starter under 'pressire'. Pay attention bosses. She is fabulous
Really disappointing store, looks big ans you imagine lots of products/options. But no, everything is spread out so much empty space. Went looking to buy my 10 year old a dress. They had 2 options! Waste of time, more products online and seems thats the way they pushing customers, but size guides are useless. So i prefer to buy in store where my daughter can try the items on first. But ended up going elsewhere to get a dress.
Love the clothes in new look. There's also a sale on some of the clothes.
I have seen new look show room in the city. They have clothing and other stuff ment for ladies only. They have quit a good collection of women clothing. Prices are moderate. I bought three jackets during their black friday offers and I got them at 50 % discount.
Ground floor shopping space is OK but the first floor was 75% empty space with just sales racks, so it looked like the business is suffering, looking like a market or second hand clothes stall.
Could be better. I went into the shop at 9:20 this morning to exchange an item. My fault, I didn’t realise they opening at 9:30. fair enough. That’s not the problem, the problem was the member of staff’s attitude. I explained that it was literally the only time I can pop into the shop. She was not interested at all. No alternatives been mentioned, didn’t check if i could exchange through post? No. No explanation why she couldn’t do me a favour, is it because they have a policy not to do these things or the till would be locked until 9:30? — That’d be fine for me if she’d explained. However the only thing she’d done was just repeated herself 4 times: the shop is not open yet, we not open. I don’t know if she felt okay to let a customer walk away without exploring any sort of other options. Another girl came after a while, they stood next to each other, no communication between them. Nothing. First time purchase in new look, shame.
Store is always very well stocked with clothes, staff are helpful when you ask for it. Like being able to have a look around as it's quite spacious in there. Only downfall for me is the amount of size 3 shoes that are in stock, they seem to go quite quickly.
