    "Had a pretty rubbish experience at Roman-Victoria Center-Nottingham today (23/12/25; around 5 PM). Went to exchange a dress with receipt, explained clearly, but they refused to transfer money, I ended up in finding a new cloth again (during my previous week shopping, I asked about return policy, they told me that I can return within a month without removing the tag). Got super nice service from one staff member, but another one totally messed up my payment. Said I owed £11 extra when it was actually just £1! When I pointed it out to check once again including the returned item, she was super rude again and blamed 'the system'. Not realised her mistake, her tone was very disrespectful, and didn't apologise. And guess what? She didn't even bother removing the security tag. I panicked and had to go back in. I complained to another staff member, and she said that she is the manager of the shop. I would recommend the management has to look at this and she has to learn from basic etiquette. However, the clothes are really good.

    The clothes are nice. However even on days of sale, there were hardly anyone in the shop.i understood why when I went to pay. Extremely rude staff. No polite talk, no apologies when the staff did wrong calculations even after realising that she was wrong, even after she was told her tone was rude. The notice for the customers in the shop says no abuse towards staff. What about the staff behaves rudely to customers. Will the higher managers won't do anything regarding this.

    What a horrible experience in this shop rude rude member of staff Indian lady I think maybe manager, like she was looking down on me. Not a pleasant feel to the shop I won't go back and will tell others not to either will go elsewhere.

    Today I visited Roman at the Victoria Centre, Nottingham. Really disappointed with the rude attitude of the staff, especially a member of sales staff whose name was not clear on her ID. She was very condescending in the way she spoke and her overall manner was very poor. I will not recommend this branch to anyone.

    Not at all helpful when I wanted to return a garment. On line it said that my purchase could be returned to a 'stand alone' store, but no I was refused. Will not be shopping with them again

    I love this shop. Quality, well made clothes at a reasonable price. Helpful staff, pleasant store. Changing rooms with space, and a stool ! I always come back to them because they sell what I want.

    Oh dear. Was like walking into an unwelcoming, dark gloomy place. Looked like a market stall, not showing off the quality clothes Roman is known for. Staff busy and didn't go out of their way to make customers feel welcome, not well dressed or showing off Roman clothes. Fitting rooms had not been cleaned and staff so disinterested in customers I'm surprised stock has not walked out the door. Come on Roman, buck your ideas up!
