   My friend and I went to a this shop, to look at some clothes. Before visiting, my friend was actually one of their Instagram followers. After we entered the store, my friend picked out a dress and went into the fitting room to try it on. At that moment, a staff member suddenly came up to me and said that the owner saw my friend taking photos, and asked me to tell her to stop and leave immediately. Since I didn’t know what was happening inside the fitting room, I agreed to pass on the message. When my friend came out, I confirmed with her that she had not taken any photos. To clear up the misunderstanding, she even offered to show her phone gallery to prove her innocence. However, the staff refused to check, and both the staff and the owner insisted that no matter what the truth was, they would not apologize, and demanded that we leave. I said, “Since you misunderstood us, the least you could do is say sorry.” But they kept repeating that they would never apologize, saying things like “we don’t care about fairness.” The owner even claimed to “remember” that my friend often came there to take photos. In reality, my friend hadn’t visited the store for two years—back then the owner had even shown her some sewing techniques, and she had actually bought clothes there. Clearly, the owner had mistaken her for someone else, but still refused to admit their mistake. The whole experience was absurd: they accused a customer without any evidence, refused to verify the facts when we offered, and then refused to apologize even when it was obvious they were wrong—insisting that “the truth doesn’t matter.” It was an extremely disrespectful and offensive experience.
