I live locally to this place so have been a few times. I’ve heard lots of good things about the quality of the products but I don’t think they are anything special. T-shirts are very thin and shrink on a 30 degree wash. Also the staff are so rude, miserable and unwelcoming. No changing rooms so you can’t try on, but also can’t return or exchange if they are wrong! Honestly, don’t bother. There are much better quality clothes available elsewhere, even at the factory shop prices

SO RUDE!!! Make sure to believe the reviews here. I was optimistic and thought they may be open on a Friday at 1pm. Nope. The woman on the intercom was so rude, dismissive and ignorant. I travelled 3 hours to get there. Doesn’t sound like they will be open till November so I just wouldn’t bother. I’ve been a big fan of Sunspel for many years. That experience was more than enough to put me off buying anything from them ever again. An exceptional British brand ruined by horrendous service. DO BETTER. And pick up your customer service phone line.

I visited this place very recently and as a small business owner myself was appalled I came up from Essex and stayed in Nottingham the factory outlet is full of crap and staff not much better I asked the staff I could try on something new so I could at least figure out my size but was told no even though they were manufactured next door they could not help there’s much better t shirts out there don’t buy from here over priced and rude staff

Don't bother, the lady that came to the door was awful, obnoxious and a terrible representation of the company. We left feeling quite shocked as Sunspel is a world renowned international brand.

I'm very disappointed with Sunspel. I bought a lovely lambswool sweater online, but it pilled excessively right from the start. I sent photos to customer service, but they said it's normal and caused by friction. I can tell you that the pilling appeared very quickly and covered the entire sweater. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and am extremely dissatisfied with their response.

A brilliant factory shop with staff that are always polite and friendly. Prices are a fraction of what you pay in other stores. Quality garments that last years. Only recommendation would be for them to provide a basic fitting room. Some of their sizing is not conventional and customers would benefit from being able to try on the garments.

This place is one of the best kept secrets in the midlands. Only open on Fridays but well worth taking the afternoon off work to go and visit. Absolutely AMAZING quality stuff at really good prices. Don't go there expecting grand surroundings, this is simply a small section of a warehouse with railings full of stock (i found that part of the charm). Extremely friendly staff and great men's and women's knitwear, loungewear and t-shirts all cheaper than what you'd pay for rubbish at somewhere like Zara.
