   I ordered the Aero merino wool scarf and was absolutely delighted when I received it. The vibrant colour, the quality of the materials used and the craftsmanship in making it were very plain to see. Ordering was easy, delivery quick and well packaged. I was so impressed I went on to purchase the Biggs and Racing as well. I know have my eye on the Whittle! I know they are going to be a staple during these colder months, they are very cosy and brighten any outfit. This company is doing a brilliant job and I would throughly recommend them.

   Warning to prospective customers: I ordered a sweater from this company, and had canceled one more on my order as a gift. They ignored the cancellation (with plenty of time before shipping, I know because they responded to an email on that chain before shipping). When I got them, the one for me didn't fit, so I returned both. They deducted shipping costs from my return bill, but then I found out from the shipping company that Stanley Biggs never paid them. I emailed Stanley Biggs multiple times and they ignored it. As to their response to this review, you can see how waaay at the bottom in the tiniest print the refunds and shipping make mention of writing "returned product" on the package, but nothing was said and I was not directed to do so during the returns process itself (no mention of this in the email returns process instructions). And according to royal mail rules online, it seems the importer is indeed responsible for the duties, and the shipping company said they sent bills to Stanley Biggs that went unpaid...owner Sophie in email on 22nd December claimed to be in contact with shipping company to resolve this, but 7 months later it isn't... Terrible experience overall.

   I ordered 2 x jumpers and 2 x caps, the jumpers are stunning quality and beautifully made, I’ll definitely buy more jumpers from this outstanding company. The caps were too big so I exchanged one and had a refund on the other as I wasn’t so keen on it. No fuss no quibble just returned and refunded in a few days. The new hat is perfect, thank you for your outstanding service and great quality items.

   Bought a beautiful brown leather belt in the shop in Belper yesterday, fantastic quality and well made, will last a lifetime. So good to support a local independent business selling quality stylish clothes and accessories made in GB. The boots I really liked are made just up the road by Britain's last traditional work boot maker, and my belt was made just outside London. A really pleasant shopping experience, really great friendly service, chatted for ages! Lovely shop, well worth calling in when in Belper.

   A beautiful shop in Jacksdale, Notts selling a wonderful selection of modern takes on vintage clothes from the 20s and 30s. Everything is beautifully made using British materials and craftsmanship. The styles and colours are really striking and underpinned by owner/designer Sophie’s eye for detail and love of history. Well worth checking out the website, but even better, if you’re in Notts, book an appointment and go and visit.

   I bought a pair of Carsington boots from Stanley Biggs and am beyond delighted with them. They are made locally to me in Derbyshire by William Lennon using 120 year old technology and designs and are the best footwear I have owned. They will probably outlast me and look as though they would survive the apocalypse. They are made to order so there is a wait but that is really part of the attraction and the personal service I received from Sophie was first rate. I feel lucky to be a neighbour of such a fantastic old-skool clothier and will definitely be purchasing more from the range.

   I ordered the gorgeous Byron jumper from Stanley Biggs. Quick delivery and the quality of the jumper is amazing. Looks great with my jeans. It’s really thick and will definitely keep you warm. I’m 5’6 and about 70kg average build and a medium was perfect.
