   Tried to change a gift I had received for xmas with no receipt, either for a straight exchange or credit note, and was told there was absolutely nothing can be done without a receipt and I had to keep it. Phoned River Island on Boucher Road asking what the policy was and they said I could take it down there and exchange without a problem so this is what I did. Ridiculous that 2 stores can have different policies and the Lisburn store need to massively improve their customer service and train their staff. I won't be shopping in there again.

   Always love this place. Clothes are great and staff always know whether to ask you for help or let you have a look for yourself. Also, I think the staff create a great microclimate by greeting you with a smile and talking to their fellow staff, making the shop appear lively and inviting. Great store, always satisfied.

   I think River Island is a little over priced for the fashion and shopping experience you get. Similar in a price to M & S on their top items but but staff aren't bothered or as helpfull as I would like. Though this store nicely stocked and well fitted.

   Today shop was not busy at all and i was not aloud to try on one pair of jeans!! I was going to buy these jeans in three different colors just had to check the fit!! Changing rooms were closed and when I asked why to the two girls chatting at the empty checkout they said closed because they where too busy lol lost a big sale won't be there again
