   On Saturday afternoon we had our works Xmas run ashore with 14 very hungry dockyard and RN. It was a wonderful afternoon meal, all the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout the meal ensuring we were kept fed and didn’t get thirsty. The food was delicious and I had the porterhouse steak that was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back here with my lovely girlfriend. Many thanks to all the staff at the Grecian, it was excellent.

   Had lunch here and it was really good. If you like quality this is the place for you and if you like quantity it is too. We both had a lovely meal from the lunchtime set menu and left stuffed. The staff were lovely and the premises pleasant. Can't fault anything.

   Went in tonight for meal. Food was amazing loads of sides come with the food. I had scotch eggs starter, amazing! And pork kebab and my friend had chilli chicken. Honestly can’t tell you how nice all of our food was. Definitely be back. The owner was walking around and speaking to everyone which I thought was a nice gesture.

   We visited Grecian on the Barbican on Sunday evening after hearing good things about their fresh fish. Sadly, the experience was disappointing from the start. We ordered the chicken wings and prawn cocktail as starters — the wings were tough and unappetising, and the prawn cocktail was bland and underwhelming. For the main course, we ordered fish, which was served as a fillet with lots of sides. Unfortunately, the fish tasted overwhelmingly of butter, masking any natural flavour. It was unpleasant and didn’t seem fresh, despite the waiter assuring us otherwise. We couldn’t eat it, and to be fair, the staff didn’t charge us for the main. However, when we mentioned our concerns, the waiter told us not to "insult the chef" — which felt inappropriate considering the feedback was honest and polite. A good kitchen should take criticism as an opportunity to improve. We paid for the drinks and starters, but overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially not for seafood lovers. Friendly service isn’t enough when the food is so underwhelming.

   This is the best roast I have had by far. It came with 5 different meats and all of the trimmings! What more could you want? I am very very impressed and highly satisfied. The whole evening has been outstanding from start to finish. The roast was the perfect sized portion with 5 roasties and a huge range of vegetables including Cauliflower cheese my favourite! So much effort, thought and passion went into each component and you could tell. Cute atmosphere with lovely decor. Staff were welcoming, friendly with excellent customer service. I cannot wait to revisited and highly recommend to everyone.

   Incredible food- try the lamb. High quality and very tasty. I had the meze sharer and wasnt disappointed. Great value for money. Service was excellent with staff noticing when the air con was too cold and changing immediately. Our table was also moved- not at our request but as a result of staff noticing we were sat near quite a loud party and offering us the option to move if we liked. It's this 5* service and excellent food that I would recommend. Only watch out is it does get very busy and noisey/loud as a result of being popular. I dont mind this but it was a bit overwhelming for my sister- until we were moved to a quieter spot which was perfect. Will be coming back. Thank you.

   Great family fun! Came for a date, but filled with birthdays and families of all ages. The service was fantastic and makes you feel part of a taste of foreign fun in Plymouth. Food was nice with the vibe that really makes this venue special
