   Popped into the Plymouth store in the city centre to suit shop for a high profile event at the Royal Commission in London I’ve got coming up in the new year. I needed to be measured properly and wanted a bit of guidance on style as I knew I wanted navy, but wasn’t 100% sure on the cut. I’ve previously bought from the Exeter store and had a great experience, so I expected the same standard here. Instead, the service was dismissive from the start. The store was empty downstairs so I went to the counter to ask for help and was basically told to “find something you like and come back.” I asked again if someone could measure me up so I knew what I should actually be looking for, and got the same uninterested response, then was told “there’s more upstairs.” Went upstairs and again, nobody available to help. No one approached, no offer of measuring, no advice, nothing. Just left standing there feeling like I was an inconvenience for asking for basic service. I ended up walking out and went straight into Suits Direct in the mall, where I was measured, helped immediately, and within an hour walked out with two Ted Baker suits. If you can’t provide the absolute basics for someone clearly ready to buy, you’ll lose custom fast. This visit was a complete waste of time and I won’t be returning.

   I stopped by to try a jacket on and was bowled over by the service received. The gentleman didn't pounce on me as I entered, but asked me if I needed help once I'd made my way to the rear of the store. Once he knew my needs I was sent upstairs where - even though she was serving - a lady acknowledged me. She came to help and found jackets for me. During this time she was able to help another customer, without making me feel abandoned. Very friendly and professional manner, and the store is immaculate and well laid out. I use Moss for coats, suits, jackets and black tie wear, and the products are very good quality, but if you're in need of great service, visit Moss Plymouth.

   I purchased my wedding suit from this store, which was carefully fitted by James. Surprisingly, it did not need alterations and looked very good on me, and I received many compliments at my wedding. I have been in a couple of times to try other things on, and James has been very helpful each time. Recently, I was gifted a linen-style shirt with matching white pleated trousers from Moss, and it has become my favourite summer outfit.

   I have been using Moss in Plymouth for years, my bespoke fitted suit must be 10 years old not and still in excelent shape. Used the store recently to buy an off the peg suit. The service from the guys working there was really good, polite and informed advice as well as being attentive. Happy with the suit as well. Suits are an investment so it’s always nice to also get great customer care. All the best guys!

   Went in to this store today to find a shirt. The sales person Toby was outstanding. I described what I was looking for, what colours I will be wearing and he went to work. Measured my neck and knew exactly what I needed. The first shirt he pulled out fitted perfectly. He was polite and very knowledgeable. Thank you for making my shopping experience easy.

   Our experience todayat Plymouth Moss Bros couldn’t have been better. Buying a Grooms suit we were pretty clueless and needed guidance. Sally was so knowledgable and helpful, gave different options and suggestions - lots of tips that we would never have thought of. All of the other staff were polite and friendly too. Definitely recommend!

   Went in on Monday to buy a suit for an upcoming wedding, I never wear suits so was unsure of size or style, the guy who served us was brilliant, very patient and helpful, not having the waistcoat in stock he checked and was able to order it online and Thursday had the whole suit delivered at home. Well pleased with quality suit at great price and fantastic service. Thanks

   Visited on the morning of Sunday September 18th 2022, needed a suit for my adult son. A lady came over and asked if we needed help, which we really did, we had no idea how to buy a good quality suit. She measured him and asked what he wanted and why (what was the event) we talked colours and she explained what was in at the moment and what is timeless, she asked what he liked and why and what he didn’t. Then she showed us to a selection asked his opinion then we went upstairs and she just pulled out suits that were perfect, she gave him a jacket to try on that looked like he borrowed it from someone in error, she went off and came back with a suit and it was perfect, colour, style, fit, perfect, then shirts, she found exactly what he wanted. This lady, whose name I didn't get unfortunately was an absolute star, legend and magician. she listened and found what we needed even if we didn't release what we needed, she really knew what she was talking about. There was no hard sell, no pressure, she just helped, and she really did. The suit looks, fits and makes him feel amazing, yes it wasn’t cheap we paid £408 for a suit, two shirts, tie and belt, and yes we paid £5 for a suit bag, but she bagged it all up for us as the event was not local and she assured him on arrival just open it up and let it hang for a while and it would be all good to go, which it was. If you are looking for a good quality, decent suit this is the place to go, and if you are lucky enough to get the lady who helped us you will be impressed. In this instance you really do get what you pay for, of course you can grab an off the rack suit from a supermarket for less money, but if like us you didn’t really know what you wanted and what works this is the place to go, the staff are amazing the shop has a lot of stock you wouldn’t believe suits come in this many colours, I am sure if we gave her a budget she would have worked to it for us , as I said there was no hard sell. Couldn’t be happy and my son felt great for the event, would really recommend this shop and its team. Huge thank you for all her help, ( I wish I had got her name)
