   On 26/09/2025 at approximately 20:20, I visited the Aldi store at Howard sr. Wolverhampton wv2 3lq. I had a full trolley of groceries. When I approached the staffed checkout, a staff member informed me that I needed to use the self-checkout instead. The self-checkout machines are not designed for such a large volume of items, making the process slow and frustrating. I believe customers should have the choice, especially when they have a significant amount of shopping. The lack of help and the insistence on using self-checkout significantly worsened my shopping experience. I hope management can reconsider this policy for customers with large orders.

3. THE ZARRAR PROJECT ★☆☆☆☆

   Absolutely shocked by the racism today at the tills. Standing at the counter, I was told by the man at the till that he had stopped serving. Then, let the white man behind us jump the queue to serve him. I challenged him about this behaviour, and he said the other customer had a gift card. But then, when we went to self-service, he opened up the till for all the other white customers. When rechallenged on this, his manager, Meg, got a security guard involved. He was the only one getting agitated and raising his voice, he was caught out for his racist behaviour. I asked the manager, Meg, what his first name was, and she refused to provide it. I asked about the store manager's name, but she refused to provide it. Asked her about the complaint process and again refused to help. Therefore, putting it out here. Appalling racist behaviour by staff! Sorry for the security guard who seems to deal with this quite often !!!

   Some of the staff are soo rude. They don't even have carrier bags at self checkout and when u ask for one they respond by " am not on this section as her" when u ask shes standing there with an attitude. I moved on to tesco up the road. They are matching Aldi items. Better service.

   Good store for discounted food supermarket. Good quality and quality. Full of stock. Click and collection available. Check the pictures. Free parking for 2 hours sharing with fish and chips shop.
