The ladies certainly know how to cook as it felt like I was eating in mum’s kitchen. A generous serving of bacon and eggs on toast as smooth coffee. Good conversationalists and it appeared that the locals love the place based on the depth of the conversations they were having with other customers (always a good idea to eat where the locals eat). The cafe is unpretentious in its decor and overly large so it can fill quite quickly. Well worth a stop if you are in the area.

This used to be Naught but Nice cafe but there was a change in management not long ago and Swifts is the result and a great find, lovely food, breakfasts and lunches always made fresh to order. The cafe is clean and tidy, nicely decorated and not fussy or full of overcrowded ornaments as it's previous establishment was before. The staff are lovely and friendly and always cheerful. The menu has a range of breakfasts and lunch items including omelette or toasted paninni sandwiches, quiche, cakes and Burts brand crisps. Their cakes are large slices, rich and moist and worth their cost. The coffee.is fresh batista style and good robust flavour. Swifts is also one of those cafes that open 7 days a week although close around 3pm. Having had a number if breakfasts there l wholly recommend it.

Had a great breakfast. Very friendly atmosphere, and the homemade cake to take away was excellent. We'll be back:)

The perfect local cafe, lovely staff, clean tables, gorgeous food. went in to grab a drink with a classmate to get some work done for university, whilst it was busy part of the duration we were there, it was quiet and we were able to focus on getting our work done and still be able to hear each other despite talking in low voices. quick service despite it being busy, an ideal location to hold a meeting.

A lovely little cafe with friendly staff. I had a vegetarian breakfast that was very tasty, and the follow-up cherry slice was moist and delicious.

The best full breakfasts! Not greasy and soooo tasty. I had a small English and I could have eaten it again as it was so good! Big mug of tea too ❤️

I have been longing to try this place until today's lunch for a late full English breakfast (lol). The service is lovely and I enjoy the relaxing environment very much - I think this is perhaps the best place to give me the local warm welcoming feeling, too. I am extremely happy with the food which comes with a good portion at a reasonable price. The homemade taste is definitely worth a more frequent visit from me in the future.

I love visiting this place because of the homemade food and the warm atmosphere. Thank you for being so kind every time I visit. My favourites have been the homemade cherry bakewell cake, roast pork and stuffing cob with apple sauce and of course those breakfast cobs!!
