Walked in to a women on her phone watching videos, couldn’t even lift her head to welcome us. brought some cold drinks and a cake. Cake had black mould on the icing. Really disgusting and luckily it was spotted before I ate it. On the side was pre cooked bacon in a tupperware box on a hot day. Binned everything we brought. Really disappointed and felt very unhygienic. 100% would not recommend

Cafe itself is nice although the woman serving Sunday 9th March was very rude. She seemed annoyed we were there! My brother has a nut allergy and asked regarding cross contamination of milks in the coffee machine and she gave a snotty comment about it being a basic machine and not using almond milks etc. He paid with a £10 note and she complained about people keep coming using notes taking all of her change. There’s a sign on the table saying exact cash or card. He didn’t have a card on him. People come with what they have-they don’t plan their visit around the shop owner not sourcing enough change to run the till! Then she was snotty with me when I tried to pay by cash. I ended up paying on my phone after she complained again. Second time visiting the cafe and I remembered her attitude from last time-Pitty I didn’t remember the sign on the desk regarding exact payment. No need to be rude to customers. I’ll take my own refreshments next time.

Filthy toilet, floor is soaking wet, tap extremely loose, toilet didn’t even flush, and it’s full of graffiti and rust. I can’t imagine if someone were to have a fall in there and be lying in that until help came. Do better.

Nice cheese and ham toasty. Great service. There is also a unisex toilet. Sometimes it’s good just to chill on a Saturday afternoon in the sunshine, watching the world go by. There is also a doggie free seating area. Good lolly selection. Note - card payments only at time of writing.

Park nice and scenic , great for dog owners and the play park is great for kids . Cafe is another story , came on Sunday 5/9/2021 And the woman running the cafe was both rude and hostile .. bring your own drinks lest you put up with some arrogant woman speaking to you like rubbish for wanting to purchase a drink
