Nice bacon and egg cob to take out, it wants to be a mind blowing bacon and egg cob to take out for £8.25 though.

What a beautiful place!! And steeped in history that they have lovingly decorated the venue with!! The history wall is amazing and has so much information and worth the visit just for that. The staff are amazing, very caring and chatty, very clean indeed and felt like a mix of a secret cafe and mums kitchen, I felt very welcome especially in the huge lounge with games and some good chill spots. The food was fast and gorgeous, I had a sausage roll and coffee at a good price for what you get. Honestly the view may be simple but rather nice to watch people walk by and with the outside seating makes it a perfect end to a good dog walk. What a fantastic find!! Come check this place out, I know I'll be back Thank you guys

The cafe is light, airy and relaxed, with a range of table settings and comfy chairs. As you enter, you can’t help but be drawn to the incredible cake counter, full of freshly baked goods. The menu has a wide range of brunch specialities, including smoked salmon and scrambled egg on sourdough, breakfast sandwiches, croissants and pancake stacks. On our visit, I opted for a Full English Breakfast (available as Meaty, Veggie and Vegan), accompanied by a lovely Chai Latte which made for the perfect start to my Sunday morning. Great tasting food, hearty portions and a chilled atmosphere - there’s no need to rush here. We grabbed some cakes to takeaway which super fresh and super tasty. If you get the chance, I’d highly recommend the Strawberries & Cream Cake - it was truly scrumptious! A fabulous brunch spot - I know I’ll be back again soon.

It has been on the second occasion where I have made payment for a said amount but then I'm charged 50p extra on top when I check my bank statement. Today I brought two slices of cake that came to £8 but like my previous experience my bank statement shows £8.50. It really puts you off coming back especially when I have two young children. It's not like what you're paying for is cheap so I don't really understand the need.

Really wanted to like this place but I'm afraid my choice of food has put me off...although I might try again for cake & coffee. It took forever for the food to come out...my ciabatta was rock hard and so was the bacon & sausage which were both tiny. The egg was about the only thing that seemed cooked from scratch. I would have sent it back but we were on a tight schedule. My friend ordered the eggy bread with fruit, which looked nice & she did enjoy it but at almost £10 it seemed very pricy. The furnishings are very nice, well spaced out and it is spotlessly clean.

My go-to place for brunch and breakfast on the outskirts of Nottingham City Centre. Lovely location at The Forest park so plenty of parking or easy access to the tram. Perfect to have a bite to eat in a nice location, then nip into town. I've only eaten breakfast or light bites here but I've never been disappointed and now you can order online so there's no queues as in previous years. The cafe has recently expanded inside and outdoors, the outdoor area is covered and has heaters so you can stay outside even in colder weather. Very extensive menu with options for all dietary requirements and lots of delicious cakes and light bites to take away if you're in a hurry. Their picnic box looks fab too!
