My freind and I have been having the occasional girly lunch here for a couple of years now and have always been very happy with the service and the food. However our recent visits weren't quite as good. For one, the menu has changed and has very limited choice. On the first visit the only thing we fancied was the jacket potatoes, we waited quite a while even though there were only 3 other tables occupied. I orderd cheese and coslaw. The food was presented on a small 'side plate' the potaoe was very dry with very little cheese and an overload of coslaw with some on the potatoe itself then on the side, along with a pile of spinach leaves, a dissapointing 'salad' On our second visit we asked for the potatoe skins, filled with cheese and bacon, as we had enjoyed these on previous visits, even though this was not the menu they did say they would make it for us, which was good of them. Again, this was presented on a small 'side plate' with spinach leaves and coleslaw. The potaotes were good, but I couldn't eat the leaves or coleslaw. Our visit was further spoiled by a dog with a high pitched yap.

Soup and sandwich combo advertised outside as £7.50. When paying I was charged £8.65. I queried it and the girl said it is from £7.50 - no it isn't it says £7.50 outside. I just paid and left as wasn't going to start arguing but I will never be back as I've been overcharged a couple of times now. Bacon was fatty and veg soup was heavily peppered (I don't like pepper). Won't be back.

Amazing freshly made sandwiches. Did not eat in, but sandwiches were amazing. Huge choice of fillings, as a sandwich, toasty or panini. Very reasonably priced.

The Buffalo Chicken Burger is one of the best I've tasted around the city centre. Chicken Burger, chips, drink and a dip coming in under a tenner.

It's not a bad cafe the food is delicious but staff look like they might attack you. Smile goes along way.

I saw one of their staff using the same pair of food prep gloves to touch stair handles and smoke cigarette then go back to prepare food. What is more surprise is that he then used the same pair of gloves to grab the food on the cutting board and put the food straight into his mouth while he was preparing the ingredient for the deli! Twice! OMG. So disgusting... I will never come here again.
