Really grubby and a let down. So unfortunate given a great location. Tea served in cheap mugs, just felt dirty.

Staff are always nice and friendly. Coffee is good tho expensive, but you have such a lovely vibrant atmosphere to enjoy. Also excellent food choices. All in all well worth a visit.

Beautiful situation, light and airy indoors with semi sheltered terrace overlooking the lake. Nice selection of light meals. I asked for an extra strong flat white because otherwise its on the weak side. This , with a savory filled croissant (yum) was only £6.40 There is free wifi available and toilets in the same building.

Staff - unprofessional to the point it causes danger! Which is a shame, because the location of the place is so lovely... My toddler is allergic to peanuts and hazelnuts, so I always have to be careful and double-check the ingredients. Today, I ordered myself a coffee, raisin swirl and then I asked if their brownies contain nuts. I had to repeat myself 3 times for the unfriendly cashier lady who rudely kept repeating "whaaaaaaat...?" with a bored expression on her face. And then, she just said, without checking the ingredients "yeah, they all contain nuts". I asked which nuts and she just shrugged her arms and said impolitely "all of them". Completely unprofessional. Finally, her colleague came out and kindly offered to check the ingredients. Meanwhile, the rude cashier, who already looked bored and annoyed, told me to pay, which I did, by card, automatically out of habit, without even checking the price. When collecting my coffee and raisin swirl I did, however, asked if I paid for the brownies (which I didn't order because they contain "all of the nuts") and the lady just rolled her eyes, then grabbed some coins from the "tip jar" and nearly threw them at me saying it's a refund. I was taken aback by this complete lack of manners and customer service skills. I don't expect people to be overly cheerful or anything like that, I just want to be treated with mutual respect. From other reviews, I can see that I am not the only person who feels this way about the staff. Maybe it should be addressed by managers and the staff could be trained properly ... There is, however, an absolutely lovely play area inside. My toddler was thrilled to play there. The potential of this place is really good... Except for this particular staff member from today. I hope this review helps to improve this place a little bit. Thanks

Nicely situated cafe, overlooking the lake. Could do with more options for food intolerances like gluten free.

Very nice food and drinks selection. Not too expensive and good choice. Only thing was no one was clearing tables and not everyone will adhere to self clear so lots of pots and rubbish left in tables we had to clear before sitting down. But a nice drink and snack.
