   The gentleman who came to clean our house was lovely but it’s fair to say the clean was not up to standard. We paid £275 for a ‘deep clean’ of our small 2-bed flat before our baby arrived. The gentleman who showed up was very polite and brought all this equipment with him. A second person was also supposed to come but didn’t show up until 30 mins before the end of the clean. The gentleman who was with us for the whole morning clearly tried his best but on his own he was unable to meet the standard of ‘deep clean’ we were paying for. We clean our house regularly so specifically wanted someone to come and ‘deep clean’ by moving the furniture and cleaning the areas which wouldn’t usually be cleaned on a weekly basis. The standard of the clean was poor. I would be happy if it was a normal weekly clean but in no way was it a deep clean. The surfaces were wiped, and the floor was hoovered but nothing was moved (they didn’t pull any furniture out to clean under it) and there is still multiple instances where the house is dirty which I wouldnt expect after a deep clean. When the clean was finished we inspected, pulled some furniture away from the wall and showed them multiple areas which were still thick with dust. They gave it a wipe with a tissue but we had to flag it again as it still wasn’t clean and they were clearly keen to leave and get on with their day so after a few flags of things that were not to standard we gave up. Due to our baby arriving in less than a week we will now have to deep clean the flat ourselves - taking care to move things to ensure an acceptable level of cleanliness for a newborn. As I said, the guy was super polite and lovely but the standard of clean just wasn’t good. I assume it would have been better if there were two people cleaning the whole time like there was supposed to be.

   I contacted this company with an emergency job for one of my high profile clients and they turned the job round at incredibly short notice. They inspected and quoted immediately within hours of me calling and had a team of 5 people on the job the very next day. The four storey house was cleaned immaculately after building works next door had left the house and its contents covered in thick dust. I cannot recommend this company highly enough and the person who runs it was extremely helpful and calm in a very stressful situation. FIVE STARS! Would definitely use again.

   My tenant hired West Clean Limited to clean a property, but the service was unacceptable. The carpet was badly damaged during the cleaning, and my tenant was charged £300 for a one bed flat. I have been trying to contact the company since May to get compensation for the carpet replacement, but they have now stopped replying to my calls and emails. I advise others to be cautious when considering their services.

   I feel it is important to share my recent experience with West Clean, a company I have previously held in high regard for end-of-tenancy cleaning. Sadly, my most recent encounter has left me rather disillusioned. I paid £400 for the service, which is nearly the price advertised for a 5-bedroom property, despite my flat being a 2-bedroom. Given that my flat is somewhat larger than average, I was prepared to pay the higher fee, expecting the same level of excellence I had received in the past. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Firstly, the en suite toilet was left in an unsatisfactory state, with the cleaners indicating that it simply couldn’t be cleaned any better. My flatmate and I found ourselves having to clean the floors, which was rather disheartening, as this should have been covered by the service. The ovens and microwave were also left in a condition that fell well below the standard one would expect. Even more disappointing was the cleaning of the curtains and blinds, for which we had paid an additional fee. The results were so underwhelming that, in hindsight, I could have done a better job myself and saved the cost. What has left me particularly concerned is the lack of response when I attempted to contact West Clean to address these issues. I provided photographs and detailed feedback, hoping for a resolution. However, I have yet to receive any acknowledgement, which is deeply frustrating and not what I would have expected from a company that previously provided such excellent service. I couldn’t help but notice that the team of cleaners was entirely different from those I’ve encountered in the past, which may explain the noticeable decline in quality. While Marlon, the manager, is still involved, it appears that the change in staff has significantly impacted the standard of service. I would gently suggest that he consider personally inspecting properties or delegating this task to a trusted team member to ensure that the high standards West Clean was once known for are maintained. Given the outcome, I believe it would be reasonable for West Clean to consider reimbursing us, particularly as we are now facing potential deposit deductions due to the unsatisfactory cleaning. Sadly, despite my attempts to reach out, there has been no response. It is with regret that I find myself unable to recommend West Clean at this time. Their service has unfortunately declined to such an extent that I would advise others to carefully consider their options. I do hope that they take this feedback on board and return to the high standards that once made them a reliable choice.

   I used West Clean for an end of tenancy cleaning and I was very happy with the services they provided. They were able to book my end of tenancy cleaning with very short notice (4-5 days), they arrived on time and completed the cleaning in the timeframe we discussed. They also provided a very competitive price compared to similar companies, including professional carpet cleaning. They provided all the cleaning supplies and equipment, so I didn't have to worry about leaving stuff behind after my move. In the end I received my whole deposit back from my landlord, so I was very pleased with their services and would totally recommend them.

   Not only did West Clean provide one of the lowest quotes amongst all the companies I looked into for an end of tenancy clean, they also did an incredible job with my flat - it was genuinely way cleaner than it was when I first moved in. The team were friendly, punctual and efficient (they took less time to do the clean than they originally said). Would highly recommend them to anyone, and plan to use them for all my future end of tenancy cleans!

My partner and I were away when the clean was done and they emailed me results of the property as well as continuously updating me on the process of the clean. The communication from them was amazing! The results were spotless and we had nothing but praise in the end of tenancy checks from our letting agency. So so pleased and couldn’t recommend them enough for an end of tenancy clean at a good, reasonable price!
