It was ready the next the day, with all fresh internals my car has never spun over soo good, honestly better than new! Well priced and excellent speedy turnaround, with patient advice given too. I’m soo happy that places like this still exist in our throw away / Amazon next day delivery world and I highly recommend you take your starter or alternator over there if it needs work.

This is proper old school refurb place. FANTASTIC. Alternator was giving grief and throwing belts. Took it to AutoSupplies and Steve is TOP. He looked at it and felt in the back and immediately found a problem (seized bush) on housing. I asked him to refurb - 45 pounds. He called me 3 hours it was all done. New back plate, new bearings and a clean and test.Alternators are simple beasts and a refurb is as good as new. I was quoted near on 300 for a new alternator. Do not buy a new alternator - this is the place to go!
I was struggling to diagnose a starting problem with my 2004 Fiat Panda. Auto Supplies kindly helped me to make some progress with the issue determining the starter motor/Solenoid was in working order. I 100% recommended. Update: Auto Supplies have again provided me with great service with the repair on my alternator. Extreme efficient and helpful yet again. It’s great to know I’ve got my starter motor/alternator and AC needs well covered with a local company.
Starter motor went on my car. They didn't have one on the shelf, but dropped mine off at 10am and by 2pm I got a phone call saying it'd been refurbished and was ready to collect. Fantastic, friendly service would definitely recommend and use again.
A friend recommended this place when i identified a faulty alternator on my Chrysler grand voyager. I rang them to see if they could help and basically said if i can get down on the Saturday morning he would try to repair by lunchtime!! Unfortunately i had to have a new pulley which he didn't have in stock but said he'd order one on monday and i would have it repaired by Tuesday and sure enough tuesday came, he rang me to say it was ready for collection and for a very reasonable price too much much cheaper than anything online! So, in short i highly recommend this place
The alternator on my vw golf went so I took it to auto supplies and by the next morning it had new bearings a new regulator and worked perfectly for a very reasonable price. Also I was given very good and honest advice from the start. Thanks
