I'have sent this company a speedometer with a new KMH dial and requested them to rebuild the MPH mechanism to KMH. Then they saythey have reprinted the KMH dial to KMH??? And the print is not a 100% quality print. They return the speedometer in a reasonable time, but without the reset cable. Now I'm busy for months to get the reset cable and a proper dial (preferably the one I have sent them. So think twice if you use their service. I think they have good technical knowledge and skills, but quality of the delivered good/service and control on these are poor. Focus on client/service is not one of the best developed skills. Still waiting, even for a reaction.
Not impressed at all with this company, I sent X4 instruments for repair which took forever ! One Tacho the needle had dropped off, and the two screws on the face were loose ! And another still never worked and had a damaged rim. I wasted a lot of money with this company. So don't bother using them. A terrible company.
Shocking service! Our Car Restoration Company Ordered a part they said we would have quickly, so booked the car in to be worked on. But was not the case, We were told over 6 times when asked where part was, someone would ring back but never did, then when finally got hold of someone, told us they would post part out, and delay was due to person making them being off work, but never rang me to tell me this. Then waited again but parcel never came, Now over 6 weeks, tried again & again to ring but not answer at all. Then when eventually got through, again, was told had posted item, but problem with post office tracking, so could not track, but if not get it will send another one, but nothing came. After more trying to call and no answer again, had to take more time out of work to go over there, to be told by someone else, it had not even been made and not been posted! Never experienced such shocking service, waisted so much of our time and had a very unhappy customer who was also not happy and thought we were having him on. I will never deal with them again and do not recommend them as a reliable & honest Company and would never do this lightly! Very Very disappointed!
Although returned twice because milometer not working our reconditioned Jeager speedo won't rewind past 7 on the trip and the speedo has just completely failed at 1500 miles.
Don’t bother sending your Smiths gauges here, they will come back not working, and then they won’t give you a refund after numerous emails. Even after sending them both to speedy cables to get them fixed, who confirmed that one of the wires had come off on one of them hence it not working. The other temp gauge wouldn’t even reach half way way when engine upto temperature due to it catching and one of the posts was bent. Both came back from Speedy cables working great. Don’t send them to this company.

This company have given me excellent service over many years. Despite the lock-down they re-inserted and modified a gearbox into a tacho cable , neatly done and exactly as requested, and returned it to me free of charge! I recommend them unreservedly.
