   On the morning of 19/12/25 (Friday) I called to request an appointment as I wasn’t feeling very well which included weakness, chesty cough, bringing up green phlegm and a temperature. I was told no appointments can be made and to take some paracetamol and rest, when I begged for even a phone call appointment just for someone to assess me to see if I need my vitals taking, I was given one for the next day (Saturday.) By the time I had my phone call the next day I couldn’t breathe so went to New Cross hospital. My oxygen levels were dangerously low at 83% and I was put on 4 litres of oxygen. I reminded in hospital all weekend, reliant on oxygen along with antivirals and steroids - I went home Sunday night. By Monday (22/12/25) morning I had the displeasure of having to call the doctors back again. This time I needed to request anti sickness medication due to the side effects of my hospital prescriptions. Because they were making me sick they were stopping me from breathing which was putting me at risk of going back to hospital and back on oxygen. I explained my symptoms, medication and my hospital stay on the phone and why I need the anti sickness medication and was told “no appointments available today - call a pharmacy”. For a patient who has compromised breathing to be neglected twice within days is absolutely abhorrent. I have never felt so neglected, unseen and untrusting of a doctors surgery in my life. If you can’t be trusted to take breathing issues seriously, what do you take seriously?

   This is a wonderful medical centre. The staff, including reception, are incredibly caring and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble and they always try to help, the reception staff have always done their best to accommodate appointments. The medical team are 1st class. Thank you

   There are no words to describe how I feel about this doctors surgery, the whole team are incredible. No matter how big or small the problem is, they go above and beyond for me and my children, nothing is ever too much. Having been to many others surgeries in the past, it really opens your eyes to how fantastic Bilbrook Medical Centre is. Big thank you to all the staff, doctors & nurses.

   Bilbrook has been amazing and never had any issues in getting any appointments. I came from an area previously whereby you had to call at 8am each morning and wait in a long queue to make an appointment to see the doctor and if all appointments are all gone for the day, you would have to call in the next day to repeat the whole process again! The way the Bilbrook system work is great, works soo much better

   The GP was great in organising some medication that I required, I had some challenges getting it from the chemists in stock, popped back into the surgery and Julie who was in reception did an amazing job hunting around for who would stock it. I even got a call later in the day from her to see how I had got on with the pharmacy that had said they stocked it. I wouldn’t expect this level of service really for such a busy surgery, I must say I haven’t been at this GP for long but I have been really impressed so far, thanks all.

   I recently joined bilbrook medical center through having an accident. I took myself and daughter there and saw a Dr Maung. The way he treated my daughter was so refreshing and old school. He made her feel so reassured and relaxed. Thank you so much that really got to me and made me well up slightly, and thankyou for taking my condition seriously, as hard as it is to live with you left me feeling that you genuinely care about your patients and relaxed my mind slightly. Thank you from us both, oh, and the friendly staff on reception And phone Sean and Katerina.
