   I can’t recommend Arnold Garage highly enough. My car developed major gearbox problems and was almost undriveable, so I needed it repaired quickly. From my first conversation, they were incredibly helpful — not only fitting me in at very short notice but also offering competitive pricing. When I dropped the car off, I also asked if they could carry out a major service at the same time, which was no problem at all. The gearbox was overhauled as agreed, and while it was away they also fitted a new clutch. All work was completed exactly as discussed. What really stood out was their honesty — the final bill actually came in slightly lower than quoted because one part didn’t need replacing. Also, my car is known to be prone to wet belt failure, I asked them to check for any symptoms while the work was being carried out. They did so and confirmed there were no signs of any issues. They could easily have recommended further work, but they were completely honest — which was genuinely reassuring and much appreciated. This level of transparency is refreshing. On collection, it was a cold morning and they’d even warmed the car up ready for me to drive away — a small touch, but very much appreciated. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with the service and workmanship and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for future work. Well done, Arnold Garage.

   Would not reccomend . Although others may have had positive experience , mine was not. Car did not get fixed after spending over £300 and multiple visits . Managed to get half a refund , should had been a full refund , if your talking legally it should have been all of the money. I just wanted rid of the place. Manager was not happy , very intimidating , not nice at all.

   The car was overheating. Arnold Garage spent half a day working on it, they couldn't find the problem so didn't charge me - they did change the coolant (which I paid for) and that seemed to resolve the issue. An honest and competent garage - what more could you want.

   Was told by a family member my front brake pads needed doing, the garage could have took advantage and changed them, but phoned me up after checking them to tell me I had more than 50% left on the pads. So when I'm due a service, will bring to these guys, recommend them. Thank you

   I was a little nervous to find a garage i could trust. After some local recommemdation i booked in with arnold garage. They were brilliant. I felt listened to and looked after. I was also concerned as sometimes im not very mobile, they were very accomodating and i am now happy to say that this will be my garage of choice going forwards. They did exactly what i needed them to do where other garages had not and im glad to say the original issue i had been chasing for months and other garages had not fixed is finally, and very simply, rectified. Hoorah. P.s. i did leave it for a month b4 posting this just incase it reoccured but its properly sorted :-)

   I contacted Arnold Garage as I'd just got home and noticed my tyre going down. I rang them and they sent someone out within half an hour (I only live round the corner) to put my spare on. They took my tyre back to inspect it and called me an hour later to say I'd need a new one. They ordered it straight away and it was fitted the very next day. The staff were all really friendly, helpful and helped me when I needed it! Will definitely be going back for anything else I need! Thank you :)
