Stupid staff failed my veichle for squeaking noise coming from steering wheel went to mechanic sprayed wd40 went back and passed but had to pay 30pound for retest scammers making money for retesting.
We were previously recommended to speak to NEVS regarding servicing of one of our electric vans but they're of no use to the public. Although they were originally set up to offer services to private individuals and companies, they now only do taxi and council vehicle testing. They're too busy to take on any other work apparently. It's been this way for at least a couple of years (spoke with them back in 2022 and received the same message) and I would assume is unlikely to change any time soon.
Booked MOT and Service for half the price Hyundai quoted. They are a local Goverment Workshop which is reassuring. Excellent service from very friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

I used this company for a repair on a family members vehicle. It was very easy to book in. The place is very organised and professional looking. They were very efficient and the car was ready in no time. The lady on reception, I think its Kayleigh? Was very welcoming, helpful and so approachable. She made our experience even better! I think she deserves a medal and a payrise for dealing with people mostly on her own all day! Grand job Kayleigh, keep up the hard work!
Great garage. Kayleigh on the desk and Stuart (I think his name was) as the mechanic were both very knowledgeable and helpful. We went here because it specialises in EVs, and I’ve always found regular garages are not up to date or experienced enough with modern electric vehicle tech to do a proper job. Plus, at least here the money paid goes back into the city, rather than private profit, which we saw as a huge benefit. Spotless new workshop, brand new equipment; highly recommend.
