Coaley Peak is a great spot for a walk with breathtaking panoramic views across the countryside. Plenty of benches make it easy to pause, relax, and soak in the scenery. A peaceful, scenic place—perfect for a leisurely visit.

We were told that the walks and views were worth the uphill car drive and the advice was good. There’s a decent car park , people enjoying picnics and the view. It was a slightly misty sunset but beautiful.

It doesn't get better than this! Yes, there are many lovely beautiful places in the Cotswolds, but you need to go south to the five valleys around Stroud to discover drama. Hidden valleys, steep and dramatic. And then you hit the edge of the escarpment at Coaley Peak overlooking the River Severn looking west towards Wales. It's a place with neolithic tombs, steep wooded escarpments and beautiful trails through the woods. Perfect for an off-road electric bike tour! Sublime!
