Great service from G B Flint. Recently collected my vehicle for repair. Kept me updated throughout the process whilst in the workshop and delivered the car back to my home clean and valited. Excellent service and would not hesitate to recommend or use again.
Just had my car back from GB Flint having used them for the first time. I purposely selected Flints because I had known somebody who worked there for a substantial time. I had the unfortunate miss hap of somebody running into my vehicle. They offered to sort it out without the need for a 3rd party, which was convenient. I took my vehicle in for an estimate, which came back higher than expected. It was a comprehensive estimate and decided to proceed. We booked the vehicle in and it was collected on the day and time agreed. The work was spec'd for 5 days. True to their word, the work took a week. This is where it falls apart for GB flint. They delivered the car back and I was totally shocked at the shoddy, unprofessional and embarrassing state of the repair. They'd missed scratches and chips on the black plastic, their was an orange peel effect on the new paint on the bumper, they'd chipped the bumper putting it back on and non of the panels at the bottom were correctly aligned!!!. The repair had actually come to £3100. The front camera still had an issue which i have had to have sorted elsewhere. The standard of this repair was nowhere near that price. I was straight on the phone whilst the delivery driver was here to the guy I knew. Excuses about previous repairs not being done correctly where spouted, which I exclaimed were obviously better than Flints due to the before the accident pictures you couldn't tell it had been damaged. I just couldn't believe what i was looking at. To be fair to Flints, they contacted me after the weekend and arranged to collect the vehicle on an agreed day. They picked the car up and had it another 4 days. They dropped the car off yesterday and I've been to check it this morning in the light. The repair is now spot on and is exactly how it should have been in the first place. I run my own company and I wouldn't have dreamed of letting something go to the customer which wasn't in A1 condition. Who checks the work? Its a shame you couldn't have done the standard of the 2nd repair first !!!! You'd of got 5 stars.

Had some bonnet dents fixed here. My main dealer wanted nearly £3k to replace the bonnet. GBF did a brilliant job of repaing the bonnet for well under £1k and the repair is undetectable. Would definitely use again.
Absolutely stonkingly BRILLIANT. Long Eaton used to be the home of a world-famous motorcycle repair and custom paint shop. They are still there, but now I wouldn't trust them to paint my wheelbarrow. So I took my dented custom motorcycle tank to Flints, on the off-chance they might be able to help. I was worried about it because it's a one-off and would have needed to be sent to Australia if it needed to be repainted, but I didn't need to worry. Flints did a WONDERFUL paintless dent repair with a perfect finish. I cannot recommend them highly enough..! *****
What an amazing company. We had only had our VW campervan 8 weeks when someone backed into the side of it. We were messed about with the other persons insurance company. We were in despair when VW assist directed us to Flints. They dealt with everything and liaised with our own insurers and van converter who had to remove and refit conversion. The repair is outstanding, communication was brilliant, staff very friendly. It was an hour and a half drive for us but we needed a repairer that was close to our van converters. To be honest if I ever have to have an accident repair ever again I would travel the distance just to get this level of service again.
Excellent communication from start to finish. Bodywork finish is excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't have been more helpful. They even bought the courtesy car to my home and took my car for repairs. Regularly updated me via text on the progress of the work. I'm a very happy customer.
Took car for inspection after accident. Very friendly and polite staff with good communication emails and texts. Took pictures of car and prepared inspection report for insurance.
Had my Golf repaired here after an accident and they did an amazing job! Couldn't look any better. If there are any issues after the repair they will stick with and sort it out. I initially had an issue with wind noise coming from my door after it was replaced. In the end they were able to identify where this sound was coming from and sort it.
