DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! My car went in for a sevice and was damaged in the process. They attempted a fix a week ago which failed and resulted in MORE DAMAGE, i was told I'd receive a phone call off the manager Michael the next day. A week later and several unsuccessful attempts by me to get in touch with them and I've still not heard anything. Really annoyed and will be seeking legal advice. I may remove this review should someone get in touch and my issue is resolved. Should it not be resolved I'll be leaving more reviews on different car sites and social media. Since this review I've had a meeting with 2 managers where they both closed ranks and proceeded to make out i was lying after them trying to repair the damage they had done an causing more damage in the process. The internal console now needs replacing which i suspect is why they called me a liar. The case is currently with the ombudsman and will hopefully be resolved. If not then I'll be getting back intouch with citizens advice and taking the company to court as citizens advice asure me the liability stands with the company and is the reason companies need public liability insurance. The managers at this place both need sacking in my opinion after reading several more reviews about this company its shameful and all the staff working here should feel ashamed.

I took my Ranger here as there was a warning light on the dashboard. I figured that I would get the best service from a Ford dealership - OMG was I wrong. They diagnosed that the EGR cooler had failed, and recommended that I pay Β£13,300 for a new engine(!). As the vehicle had been driven to Sandicliffe without issue, I asked (three times) if they could change the EGR cooler then test to see if the engine was actually damaged... I got no response. Now forced to visit Sandicliffe in person I asked about bypassing the EGR cooler and testing the engine, which they actually agreed to do - but then didn't do it. Chased this up for almost a week, to be told they couldn't do this "1 hour job" now for "weeks and weeks". Eventually I had a recovery company bring the truck home to me unrepaired and untested. I emailed my complaint regarding the poor (non-existent) customer service to the managing director Michael Martine (twice), who eventually replied saying he would investigate and respond - WHICH HE NEVER DID!!!

Absolute jokers serviced my van then two weeks later I pulled the dipstick out only to see it was bone dry upon talking to them they openly admitted that the technician had not put enough oil in and also I had complained of a high speed vibration only to be told that they couldnβt fault it yet it feels like Iβm driving on 4 50p pieces there rude dismissive and make you feel like your imagining the issue probably because they donβt want to admit that there incorrect service has damaged my engine. This is the end of this I will be contacting my solicitor and taking further action! Avoid at all costs if you value your vehicle!!!

Sandicliffe at Stapleford are a real pleasure to deal with. Both the front office and engineers are professional, friendly and work hard to resolve issues. We have been using them for a long time with our Ford fleet and have always had a positive experience.

NEVER take your car here without before photos. Car went in for recall and now due care or attention made, damage made on the car, cable ties used instead of correct fixings and to top it off, lwft the tracking oht of line. Went back for tracking only for it now to have a rattle!

They did a decent job and got my truck fixed but communication could have been a little better. They said they'd call back to confirm parts availability but didn't. I chased this 4-5 times over a few days but couldn't ever get through and no one returned my messages until they called to let me know that the parts were already in and they were about to start the work.

WOULD NOT USE AGAIN! We booked in our van into them for a repair under our business account we have with them. They had 3 numbers to contact us on before the repair could take place as we know Ford like to charge a lot for the simplest jobs. we asked them to remove the incorrect numbers from the account and only use our main landline number. Guess what...they rang the only phone number that we asked them to remove as it was someone else's number. apparently they got authorisation from that person and did the job! We rang them from our office to ask if its been looked at yet and they say the works are done and left a Β£250+vat bill for us to pay so we refused as we have not had a call, so every time after that, they say they are too busy to call back or they have apparently left a message on the wrong phone numbers mailbox?? the bloody office number is on the side of the company van in large blue numbers! Just a rubbish, unorganised, big headed company.
