   Elmwood Garage has taken cowboy mechanics to a whole new level. I took my car in to have the rear brakes replaced and front CV boot replaced. I was called by John and he told me that they had broken the security lug nut off so they couldn't remove the tyre to do the work. When I was told the car was ready for collection (I had paid £600 for the work) John said I would have to take the car to another garage because they couldn't do it! They claimed the damage was done by the previous garage who had my car (Beattie Armstrong) but this was false as they only serviced my car, they didn't work on the tyres. How can a garage return a car with a broken lug nut, which is so unsafe, so my advice is to avoid Elmwood Garage. I paid £600 for this - I feel I was ripped off and they called me a liar! I'll take John's advice and will certainly go to another garage in future! If I could give a negative star, I would!

   Last Monday my beautiful Audi TT rolled down a hill and was stopped by two tree stumps and was quite badly damaged. I was quoted £2100 by another garage to get it fixed but I took it to Elmwood to get the guys to look at it. I was totally stunned at the incredible, amazing job that John did as he fixed it at a tiny fraction of the cost. He is so very talented and I am so grateful and I would highly recommend this garage to everyone.
