    Such a great place to have a walk, swim or just enjoy the scenery. You can walk for miles along the seafront. The carpark has toilets which is very handy.

    Far too many dogs without leads on beach. Absolute pain. Disappointing that car park closed so early in certain months and also that Smart parking can issue fines if over your time. Takes a lot of the pleasure out of coming to Helen’s Bay.

    Love Helen's Bay for a Sunday stroll or just a reset walk along the beach. The view across Belfast lough is always glorious and when the Sun is shining it is soul warming. Soft golden sand and silver swashing waves make it a very popular place to unwind. There are lots of swimmers and casual dippers in all weather. The walk round to Crawfordsburn is not long, calming and fulfilling to daydream along the shore. Birdsong from the trees that buttress the beach and the sound of the sea make it a great walk to sooth the soul and warm the heart. Car park is close by, with toilets and water for dogs. Safe and secure and friendly folk quick to smile a hello.

    A lovely little beach with a great park nearby to walk around. A great place to go on a picnic when the weather is great. People were lovely except The ice cream truck guy who refused to sell us ice-cream saying that he does not have any but he later had to, because somebody came and bought one when we turned to go back. He did not seem happy at all. I hope that he is alright.
