Recently had to visit Dave after my car failed its MOT. I needed two new brake pipes. I managed to get the car booked in with Dave really quickly and he fixed the two brake pipes in a day. Fast service, but they went ahead with the work without calling me to explain prices like they had promised. I have since learned that these prices were WAY above the odds. Make sure they follow through with promise of explaining quote before carrying out work. It was pretty sneaky to be honest, and I feel a bit stupid for having been taken advantage of.
Outstanding. Brought my car in a week early by mistake but Davey said not to worry, he'd have a look at it anyway. He managed to diagnose the issue, get it fixed and have the car ready to collect the very same day. Fair and transparent pricing, excellent service. Won't go anywhere else now. Just be aware it's cash only.
Can't recommend these guys enough. I had a bad experience with a previous mechanic which left me driving about unaware that the car that was unsafe. Ace Autos quickly fixed the problem at a very reasonable cost and it passed it's MOT for another year. They will definitely be my first call going forward.

Excellent service! Basically had to recommission the car after just over 3 years unused. ACE got it through MOT at 1st attempt! They also did extra services not usually in their remit. Would most definitely recommend Ace Autos and would not think twice about using them again.
Took car here after failed MOT. Davy accommodated me quickly and fixed the issue for a reasonable price. Friendly and professional. Passed MOT 2nd time with much improved brake efficiency score from 46% to 79%.
Fantastic service. Left car in at 9am for new exhaust and got call at 11.30 to say it was ready to pick up. Great value for money too and warranty given. Would highly recommend Ace Autos.
