Appalling. Booked online. Tried phoning numerous times but the phone line goes dead. Wanted to change the appointment time but would be charged the full amount for doing so. Made the 45 minute journey for my appointment, and the place had cancelled my appointment anyway. Happy to charge the customer immediately and no manoeuvring on times (that’s if you can talk to an actual person) but no compensation for the customer who bothers to turn up and had driven miles to get there. Don’t waste your money go elsewhere. The actual service might be ok but I wouldn’t know.
Never got my one hour massage booked with Living Social. My appointment was cancelled four times, the first three times were due apparently to staff illness. The 4th time at short notice again was due to a double booking!! Couldn’t get another suitable booking and was told to get a refund from Groupon (even though it was Living Social) Anyway, I eventually got a credit to my account and annoyed to see they are still advertising secret boutique treatments. Wouldn’t recommend.
Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else to get my lashes done! Also recently had dermaplaning done here by Georgia who was fantastic, polite and professional throughout. The salon is always clean and tidy and the staff are always friendly and cheerful with a lot of knowledge about the many, many different treatments that are on offer. I've recommended to a lot of people who have all had similarly great experiences!
I was given a 2 hour treatment coupon as a gift. I had a facial, massage, manicure and pedicure. The facial was relaxing and the massage helped but was not vigorating enough. The therapist was polite but her hands were cold, I was cold throughout and was glad to have my big coat. The manicure and pedicure was a waste of time. The therapist was inexperienced and didn't care. I was sprayed with stuff and had my dry cuticles pushed back. I refused polish. When I left my hands and feet were dry, felt and looked worse than before. I also still had scrub on my face. I would not return.
Awful experience. The girl doing my 3 treatments seemed like a student. I arrived 5 mins late and wasn't greeted nicely and rudely informed my treatments will be cut short. The back massage was awful, it hurt a lot where I had to ask her to stop and use less pressure. The gel nails, despite her saying she was going to shape my nails she didn't do any shaping where I had to ask her to round them off. I noticed after getting to my car that she had ripped my skin on my eyebrow wax. I went back to ask what happened, spoke to the manager who offered no apology, no refund as it was a Groupon and only another treatment, to which Id no way want to again. She said maybe it's a reaction, despite me saying it's a clear wax line rip and the other eyebrow was fine. Absolute awful customer service with unskilled staff.
I had individual lashes done here today; Great service! They booked me in within an hour. The second I got there I was smiled at and was in the room right on time. The boutique itself is beautifully decorated, clean and has a lovely smell to it. The music isn't loud and overbearing, but still loud enough to tap your foot while you're waiting. The beautician was polite, careful and I had no pain whatsoever, this was the first time I'd ever had my lashes done before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but for a first time it was perfect! I am in love with my lashes and I will be sure to keep going back for further treatments. Thank you!
