Feeling stressed or just want to look good. The place to go for fabulous facials, massage, nails and other beauty treatments from a very professional, knowledgeable and friendly lady. Covid procedures followed. Absolutely excellent. I have been going for years and never ever been disappointed.
Lucy is fantastic at everything she does, with extremely competitive prices. Only downside is accessibility as salon on first floor with no lift. There is a grab rail on the left hand side of the stairs for added support as required.
From a male point of view and arriving for my first ever back wax appointment as you can imagine i was extremly nervous and not knowing what to expect. I wont lie it was bloody painful however i was told all about what to expect and what to do after my treatment and was chatted to the whole time during my treatment (I am assume to try to take my mind off the god awful feeling of having my hair ripped out of my skin!) Lucy was lovely and i was and am very happy with the results and have made another booking already, for my sins!
After hearing good things from a few friends who already use Effortless Beauty i took a look at the website and called to make a appointment. I had to leave a message however Lucy soon got back to me and booked me in with all the infomation that i needed as a new client ie: how to find the salon and that cash or cheque was needed for payment and what i needed to bring for my treatment. After visiting the salon i can firmly say that i will now be a regular to Lucy/ Effortless Beauty and will be recommending my friends to her/the salon, especiallly as i was given a recommend a friend card which i will benefit from as well as my friend on her first visit.
I have been seeing lucy since she started up on her own and would thoroughly recommend her! I have had various treatments - waxing, massage, manicure, pedicure and have been extremely pleased with all of them. Lucy is lovely and easy to talk to, but allows time for quiet and relaxation as well. The treatments are also very reasonable compared to other beauty salons I have been to. I only wish I could justify going more often!!!
