Got air conditioning regassed and a sensor fitted, all good, work completed promptly and works well, no issue. But was shocked when I had to pay an extra £80 for diagnostic, which I was not made aware off, so I feel that they were not upfront about the costs. Beware hidden costs!
My car Peugeot 208 1.2 Puretech was in for a wet timing belt replacement last Monday. I had discussed this with the guys last year when they replaced the front shock absorbers for me. I wanted the belt changed at the recommended 60,000 miles and also wanted the car prepared for MOT, which is due in a few weeks. I have used this Garage several times since a friend recommended them and I was becoming disillusioned with the Dealership where my car was bought new. These guys know what they are doing and keep in touch with updates on progress and any additional work needed. I can thoroughly recommend A1 Autos and if anyone in the Dunmurry area is needing a Wet Belt replacement, give A1 a shout. They will sort it for you.
Very honest mechanics, and you can tell they take pride in what they do, and deliver a top quality job. I went for a rattling sound on the front axle which was annoying me for months. They drove the car, lifted up , couldn't find anything obvious but explained what could be causing it. Left the car for other repairs, and they went the extra mile and figured that it was a loose nut causing the rattling under the bonnet. Went back as a happy customer, and noticed they didn't even charge me for loose nut fix. Honesty, work ethics, professionalism, hard work, all checked!

Finally I've found a fully transparent mechanic. They make sure you know exactly what they are doing and how much it will cost in advance. They show you all your old parts and their replacements and give you an itemised invoice of all the work.

Reliable mechanic! Rang A one when my car was chugging and engine light was flashing. Robert was able to tell me on the phone what he thought it could be and to bring the car in. Turned out to be exactly what he said it could be and was able to fix the issue there and then. He explained exactly what he was doing and showed me why so I was more than happy to pay for the repairs.
CheckEngine light came on, they were very friendly, fella ran diagnostics on the car with an unseen problem, took it for a test drive, chatted away and was very knowledgeable, would deffo be back if my car has anymore problems
