   I was actually pretty anxious and hesitant with colouring my hair due to not having liked the outcome when I did it once in the past. But Katie was brilliant, all the way from the consultation to the end of my appt, she was funny, she was interactive, I enjoyed chatting to her, she kept me informed with everything she was doing, helped me select the right kind of shade for my highlights based on what I was looking for. The team were lovely with accommodating me and my friend for the entire 3 hour appt. I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience at KH Beeston and can confirm it'll be my go-to salon here on! Update on 26.08.25 - dropped a couple stars. I went for another appt here and had a different hairdresser. As nice as the lady was, I wasn't happy with the experience. I went for half head highlights and they were not blended correctly (see photo). Also she seemed to have forgotten to cut bits at the front of my hair so I ended up with wispy bits and had to go home and correct it. She seemed to be rushing near the end of the appt as her next client had arrived so someone else dried my hair and that second lady didn't know how to cut hair, so I had to leave having spent £99 and not very happy with the outcome. I tried to get used to it, and tried to ignore the uneven colour line when my hair was straight but I just couldn't so I went back to the salon to ask if anything could be done. The lady who coloured and cut my hair basically fobbed me off and said nothing could be done. Having spent that kind of money and being told they couldn't fix their error was very displeasing and left a sour taste. Someone called me back from the salon after I had left saying their manager/director advised that they could sort out the mistake but I was booked in with the same girl and I was actually worried by then it might end up worse than better so I decided against going back for the fix. I'm debating going for a third try but with a senior stylist hoping for a better outcome.

   Sophie washed, cut and dried my daughter’s hair. She was very professional, attentive and gave lots of excellent advice on how to care and style wavy hair. My daughter was very happy with her experience and I’d recommend Sophie. We will be back.

   I have never in my life left a bad review! But I had an appointment today and to say I was disappointed is an under statement. My haircut is so uneven and choppy and not blended. Firstly, I chose online the more expensive stylist to get the best results, I even let them know my hair was long so maybe need more time. I got a call that same day a few hours before saying to come earlier as my hair is longer. No problem. I go earlier and my stylist was seeing to 3/4 people at the same time. Coming and going from my cut . Why tell me to come earlier if you’re going to be busy with other people? No worries I thought, all I asked for was a trim and freshening up my layers as I’ve had them cut here previously by another stylist. I asked for some face framing curtain bangs. She cut the front pieces so uneven and blunt straight across. Not blended into the rest of the layers. I mentioned that the most front piece was abit longer than the rest and she told me it was just the way my hair sat! But as you can see from the pictures it’s clearly a lot longer. Then (despite paying for the senior stylist) she left and said another lady (much younger and less experienced) was going to do my blow dry. I thought it was abit strange as I paid more to have the senior stylist and I came in earlier so she had more time to do my hair. Whilst blow drying I mentioned again that the front bit looked totally disconnected from the rest of my hair and she assured me once it was styled it would look nice… again, in the pictures you can see it’s just a block of hair disconnected from the rest of the layers. I’m attending a wedding tomrorow so asked for a blow dry with as much volume and curl as possible so it would hold for tomorrow. I’m well aware I would need to touch it up, no problem. This is what I ended up with… she used a “volume spray” in my roots but all it did was make my scalp sticky and feel horrible as she didn’t blow dry my roots at all. After all this, they charged me, £56! For a trim and blow dry when the option I picked online was either 43/47, for the SENIOR stylist! Which she spent all of 10 mins chopping my hair, the left me with someone inexperienced. I’m so disappointed as I’ve had a good experience here months ago. I had to come home and spend 30 mins cutting and fixing my hair for the wedding tomorrow! If I could give 0 stars I would!

   I had Charlie and she was amazingly patient with me as I was very nervous. She talked me through the process and helped me to get my dream hair. Very talented at Balayage and I will definitely recommend to my friends. Booked to come back in summer! Thanks Charlie :) 10/10 would recommend! ⭐️

   The place itself is lovely, but very pricey. I was charged £87 for a full head colour and a blow dry. My hair is short above my shoulders. In hindsight looking at the online pricing I think I was overcharged. But if this is within your budget would definitely recommend!

   Have been several times and been happy with my experience. This time saw a different hairstylist. Didn’t really ask me much about what hair style I wanted or how I style it normally or anything , just how long. Cut it shorter than I asked for or had ever had it before. When I explained this politely she just said she’d done exactly as I asked, no further discussion or apology. Also £3 more expensive than advertised so need to update this on their website.

   Team is always lovely and accomdating whenever I go in. It's always clean, tidy and professional but with a friendly atmosphere. I've only ever been to this and one other hairdresser and Ernesta is wonderful!
