   Extremely disappointing. Booked an 8.30 am dpf deep clean. Dropped the car off for 8.30 and was told it would be done within 2 hours . 10.45 I got call to say they were just looking at it now but could not do it. My advice is find somewhere else very disappointing service

   I had my front tyres replaced. Booking online was very easy, range of tyres was good with helpful information on the website to help me pick the right tyres. The check-in process was quick, the person who took my key and confirmed the work to be done was efficient and friendly. I didn't have to wait. I got a call to tell me the car was ready. The new tyres drive well and are noticeably quieter than the previous ones. Competitive pricing too. Would definitely recommend.

   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Service from Start to Finish I took my car to Halfords last week for some substantial brake work and was extremely impressed with the whole experience. They provided clear paperwork with photos of the issues, explained what repairs were legally required and what was recommended, and gave a full cost breakdown for each item. I chose to have all the work done and was very happy with both the service and the price. They called me as soon as the job was completed, just as promised. This week I had a separate issue with the car. Even without an appointment, they told me to bring it in and were incredibly accommodating. As soon as I arrived, they looked at it straight away, identified the fault, ordered the part promptly, and let me know they could have the repair done by the afternoon. I honestly cannot recommend this garage highly enough. Excellent workmanship, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service every time. Highly recommended!

   We entrusted our pride and joy to Exeter Street Auto-Centre here in Plymouth after calling in to speak to the guys in person to get a feel for the place before we decided what to do. Everyone we encountered were polite, informative and friendly and they were all happy to chat making the decision for us easy to make. Sure, you can trawl around looking for cheaper and you may save a couple of quid here or there but you are getting good service and quality care for your car along with piece of mind.    I did have an issue of diesel leakage from my car. So I did a diagnosis with Halfords. Booking reference number : ...........The diagnosis came as a faulty injector(No 1 cylinder). I paid £49.99 for diagnosis  and they quoted me £800.35 to change an injector. It  was very high. so I took the car to another garage and the leak was from a high pressure pipe and they renewed the pipe and the leak was stopped(costed me £200). Had I repaired the car based on Halford's diagnosis, I would have lost £800.35 + £49.99 plus the car would still be leaking diesel. When I checked with another garage they said it will cost a maximum of £300 for the injector and £100 to change it. It forced me to check my previous history with Halfords. On 8th Feb 2022 I did Service + M.O.T  and they advised me to change the spark plug. It costed me £154.88. While checking their website it cost only £12.34 for a spark plug (Bosch Spark Plug 408993680) so  they charged £142.54 as labour charge to change a spark plug. (Not sure if they did service / changed the plug, because the car had engine failure and had to scrap it) So I have come to a conclusion, never visit Halfords for any repairs. They do daytime robbery without even solving the problem.

   My wheel nut locking key disappeared (made sure it was in the car as they request, made sure it wasn’t after picking it up). Sent me to “other garage” with a failed MOT for a trivial problem with a fuel pipe (no alternatives, just take your car away). Asked whether I could drive and the answer was “not know the latest regulations on that”. Unprofessional. Created way more problems instead of helping.
