Never had I thought that a root canal would be painless! Sure, it was a little uncomfortable, but given other experiences, I thought it was going to be so much worse! Thank you all so much!
I called and just asked if they have an emergency appointment as they are on the list of the dentist access scheme, as soon as I mentioned the word emergency they hung up on me. A simple “sorry nothing available” would have been ok.
If I could give negative rating I would. My entire family (including my 17 Yr old and 92 Yr old Mum) have been kicked out of the practice as our dentist is leaving and the other dentists booked are closed? I asked about in an emergency you're not registered with us so we wouldn't help. I've been attending here for over 40 years but that's when it was well run by Mr Turk. Shambles since D J Maguire associates took over. Manager Ruth so rude and couldn't care less.
My daughter is autistic and had a bad experience with a different dentist in relation to injections. When getting her filling today, the dentist was patient and explained why she was doing things a certain way. She was calm and reassuring when my daughter started to panic. She has made the dentist a positive experience again. The injection went smoothly and next time will be a lot more relaxed. Definitely an autism friendly practice.
I'm sharing this review on behalf of my mum. She was the last appointment of the day, and was booked in for a filling. The dentist knowingly put in a filling that wouldn't last, and only informed my mum once she had put it in. This filling fell out within a 1.5 hours, and now my mum has to go back and get the correct filling, which will be at another cost. On top of this, despite my mum informing the dentist that she was hurting her lip, the dentist continued and my mum's lip has now opened into a blister type lesion and is quite infected. It shouldn't be as infected as it is and I am calling into question the cleanliness and practice of the dentist.
Can't really fault it. Bit small and pokey but staff are great and very knowledgeable. Also able to register as a new NHS patient which seemed impossible everywhere else.
Professional staff and very friendly service recommend that place to everyone
