Theres a young asian lady, big bright eyes, hair is usually straight! She is a Godsend! Soo lovely very approachable and will sort out any problem! Very thankful for her!
Sat who is a new member of staff is absolutely amazing! So friendly & helpful. Such a wonderful lady! Edited review to say actually all the staff in this pharmacy are lovely. Every one works hard & are always pleasant & helpful. They have to deal with some very unpleasant people at times as well!
Very slow to get served to many doing nothing and just looking busy.
The worst Pharmacy I've ever been to, by far. The first prescription presented, went fine. The second prescription wasn't ready until my second visit. I waited twice, for over 20 minutes. I complained and my completed prescription was thrown across the counter at me. The third prescription ( and definitely the last at Mayfield Pharmacy) wasn't even ordered from the manufacturer, four days after the doctor sent it electronically to them. Having waited yet again, I complained and was told " if you don't like the service, you know what you can do" I have put in a complaint to the Backcountry ICB and would advise you to AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COST. From terrible customer service to an inefficient and uncaring dispensing service, I would advise you to go elsewhere. Dispensing medicines is a very important job. I wouldn't trust this lot to dispense sweets, let alone life saving medicines.
Wasted of time phoning the pharmacy up cuz all the phone dose is ring or thay put it down on u.. wasted of time going there iv phoned 6 times today and not one picked it up and it was put down on me 3times.. there was no people in the pharmacy it was empty and all the staff are talking no one picks up the phone and not doing there job right
Hard to contact by phone tried before xmas no answer now ran out of medication after 200 plus calls to chemist when it finally rings there’s no answer

I have been going to this pharmacy for years and they are so professional and pleasant to deal with. They look out for their customers and are always so helpful. Lovely people.
i cannot thank or praise the staff at the mayfield chemist enough,they're always cheerful and willing to help and explain anything i don't understand they really do go out their way and beyond with explaining what meds im on or if i have any side effects they take the time to talk to me about them informing me if the side effects are normal or if they think i need to see dr ori who is a very good dr the best dr i've ever had yet again i cannot thank dr ori enough she is a top dr id advise anyone to go to the mayfield medical centre
