I must express my sincere appreciation for the professional and kind care I received from the moment I entered the surgery. The staff were truly wonderful and helped me feel at ease, which was paticularly comforting as I am not the typical fan of dental visits. I would highly recommend Cavity Corner.
My visit to Cavity Cornor went extremely well today. I would like to thank Georgia especially for fitting me in a such late notice, I really appreciate it. The Dental Nurse Brian was very pleasant and reassuring explaining everything as he went along putting my mind at ease. Overall I was very happy with my treatment.
I’ve witnessed patients coming in and threatening this lovely team absolutely absurd behaviour. The patients who treat the staff this way should be ashamed of themselves. This is such a lovely practice with an excellent team of dentists and reception staff. They always do their best to get you in when they can, even when they’re busy.
Such a lovely dental practice! Given how difficult it is to get a dental appointment nowadays, the team here are always so helpful and accommodating. I’ve also witnessed first-hand how some patients can be abusive towards the staff it’s so disappointing to see, especially when they’re such a kind and professional team.
I've be a patient at Cavity Corner for a few years and I have had to leave recently due to some very bitter experiences within the last number of months. This practice has went downhill in recent times and is poorly run from the top down - I have witnessed the manager and my assigned dentist demonstrating defensive behaviour when called out on very poor healthcare delivery in relation to my own experience as a patient. I was treated disresectfully by the dentist without any instigation on my part and have witnessed the manager acting very aggressively with a patient over the phone which was echoed loudly throughout the building. I have already raised these issues of incredibly poor practice/culture with the RQIA and have made an official complaint, only to experience yet more defensiveness in their response. I am not satisfied with the way I've been treated and will be taking this further to the Patient and Client Council as no patient should be treated with the same level of disrespect and lack of compassion. I would strongly recommend anyone to avoid this practice, that goes for potential patients as well as dentists themselves. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.
Appointments would be made without me knowing and then when I would call up I had to pay a fee before I could actually be seen. I asked for appointments to stop being made like this unless I called up and made it myself as I was at university and simply couldn’t afford to pay these bills. Then after this I called up to make an appointment to be told that I missed an appointment and had to pay a fee even though if asked for appointments to stop being made like this. Then when I called and told the receptionist that I wouldn’t pay the fee as it was agreed that appointments wouldn’t be made unless I called up she quite aggressively told me this is procedure and that I’d have to “deal with it” then when I asked for a manager she responded “well I am the manager and this is how it’s done” absolutely horrible experience. If you need flexibility or on a low income do NOT use this dentist
Had to go to cavity corner today and all I can say is that they were brilliant from the receptionist to the assistant and the dentist I had a small abscess so they had to pull the tooth was a bit nervous but they put me at ease and had the tooth out so quickly and with no pain ,would recommend them to anyone thanks guys
