I've been taking my two sons to kings barbers for about 6 years now. The boys love going and have their favourite barbers. Always so friendly and welcoming. They never want to go anywhere else.
Brought my son in for haircut and shave today as a treat for his prom this evening and what a lovely experience it was for him. The gentleman was welcoming, professional and took his time looking after my son, he almost fell asleep in the chair. We would definitely recommend and we will definitely be visiting regularly. This is my third visit to Kings Barber and I'm well impressed. The same guy has cut my hair every time and he is a brilliant barber. No mess with hair as he wraps some paper round your neck to keep them from going down. His attention to detail is excellent, you can just see he takes his job seriously and wants to do the best he can. I have no faults at all with the shop or the lads that work there. I'll be coming back month after month without a doubt. Thankyou
I'm sorry to say but this place is terrible. they messed up my hair which was a simple request. I'm never going here again, worst barbers in Ilkeston. Barbers were kind but unable to understand a simple haircut. I was disturbed by the fact that a lady came in with her son, and almost flirting with the barbers them self, by giving them goodies like costa and Greggs but I have definitely seen her around many times with what seems to be to her husband or boyfriend. Give them a chance of course because they might do much better with you than they did with me.
Only recently moved to Nottingham tried out a few barbers but the guys here gave me the better hair cut by far, also a nice chilled atmosphere
First time I have been in. Fantastic experience. I thought this place was for trendy young men before I went in but caters for all. The guys are courteous, friendly and the place is spotless. I will certainly be going again. Reasonably priced. Next time it's a haircut and shave! Best haircut I have had in years.
