   Third time I've used this garage in recent months. Once for a minor bodywork repair, which was done quickly, cheaply and effectively. Secondly for an engine warning light issue on my Mercedes which was resolved with a new part, and an MOT on my motorhome. A very friendly, reliable garage in my opinion which I will continue to use.

   I trusted Allbright Autos for good 3 years with my van and as latest service full service, including a specific request to replace the brakes due warning light being on. That request was missed, and I was allowed to drive away with the brake warning light still where weeks later, I lost complete braking control and crashed into a hedge. After I took the van back to the garage they confirmed that brake pads was missing and the discs were incorrectly fitted, yet they continue to claim the vehicle was safe and no such issues were found during service. I was let to drive away with warning lights on not once, but twice as warning light was still on after front brakes were changed. Throughout the complaint process, I’ve been met with dismissive responses, twisting of facts, and attempts to shift blame ourselves and focusing on MOT results rather than the actual failure to act on a safety critical request. The garage is not registered with any regulated scheme like The Motor Ombudsman, meaning there’s no external accountability. I’ve since had the vehicle inspected by another garage, who confirmed severe corrosion on the rear brakes and other issues that should have been caught. There has been no apology, no goodwill gesture, and no accountability. After sharing my story at work, I discovered this isn’t the first time something like this has happened and almost 5 start review does not seem real. I’m now seeking legal advice due to the financial loss and emotional stress this has caused. If you value safety, accountability, and honest service I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. (Brake light still showing on after van pickle duo after service on 6th June)

   Friendly, honest, reliable and trustworthy garage. Very good prices and a local family business. I used to visit their old place in Coxside but because they're really good, I still use their garage in Southway. Highly recommended. Won't use anyone else.
