I have been getting my hair cut by Kiera at Root Cube, and I'm happy to recommend the salon highly. I have really thick hair but Kiera puts forward really helpful recommendations (for the cut, as well as on maintaining the condition of my hair) and I'm always really happy with the cut. It's also very reasonably priced and I love that I can easily book or move appointments online - so convenient.

I had my first appointment at Root Cube with Shay for a T bar colour, cut and blow dry. It's always very daunting attending a new salon, especially since I had been with my old hairdresser for over a decade. From the moment I arrived Shay made me feel completely at ease, she was incredibly knowledgeable and provided lots of advice throughout my appointment. What a hidden little gem!! This was my first experience with root cube and what an experience it was. The staff were just so lovely and a special shout out to Shay, she was so professional. My consultation provided me with information about my scalp right down to the tips of my hair and i really did feel well looked after and special. I will definately be back. If you want to feel good and have a lovely experience, then get yourself to root cube!
It has been around 3 weeks since I had my haircut here and I think it's been one of the best cuts I've had. I have fairly long hair and normally feel like I'm given a straighten up and that's it. For the first time in years I was given consideration for my hair, which way it lies, which parting suits me, fringe or no fringe.... The style has lasted and my hair still looks great today. Great wee friendly salon, highly recommended
Absolutely loved my first experience in Rootcube!! I'd went in for a consultation a couple of weeks earlier, and when I came back everyone was super friendly and remembered me. Carina walked me through every step of the process she was doing to lighten my hair, and I felt in really safe hands! Absolutely love how my hair turned out and can't wait to get back in, would 10/10 recommend ❤️
