Popular barber shop and can be quite busy at times dedicated days(with discount) for oap's. Personally always pleased with the service and friendly staff.
I am blind and have a guide dog. Going to Ernie's for a hair cut is never a problem, in fact it is a joy. All the staff treat me with respect and genuine care. Social distancing is adhered to with masks worn by everyone. A truly great Barbers Shop. Thanks for all your help. Robert Lacey
I have used Ernie's on and off over the last decade. Ernie himself can cut hair ok and Jim is really good. But the women that are employed here are beyond useless. I usually try and avoid the women like the plague and say you are waiting for one of the men. Some of them take it ok some of them have a real attitude about it. Just had my last bad haircut in this place and won't be back... if I wanted a bad haircut I would let the wife have a go! And in addition customer's don't need an atmosphere just because they want to wait for someone that can cut hair. I am in my 30s and not really precious about my hair like young lads would be I would just like a cut that doesn't leave me looking like I have had a go myself in a mirror... actually I couldn't do any worse than the women at Ernie's!
