   I avoided this place for long time due to its reputation of being expensive for expensive sake appealing to upper echelons of British society. I just needed some frozen chips. I went in and saw some reduced stickers straight away! 4 croissants reduced from.. £5 to £2.50? I was shocked. And the frozen chips? Almost £4.. I saw so many upmarked prices through there. If youve got plenty of money the store does look nice etc but personally I'd rather a fair price.

   It was my first time using the click and collect service today at Waitrose. I was extremely impressed with the level of service from the staff as soon as I stepped in the store, their willingness to help was very much appreciated, the security guard Mo/Moe was one who stood out due to him being so kind, friendly and helpful! I cannot praise his high level of service enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   I visited this shop with my young daughter to buy a tea and a Monster energy drink. However, the staff member refused to let me buy the energy drink and even took it away from me at the till – without any proper explanation. If there is a specific rule or age-related policy for purchasing energy drinks, it should be clearly communicated with signs or notices. I am an adult and was buying the drink for myself, so I do not understand why I was refused service. I would appreciate it if the store could explain what this “special rule” is, so I can inform others and avoid this kind of impolite and uncomfortable shopping experience in the future.

For example They will send 350g instead of 500g And they will send you 4 pieces of toilet paper rather than 9 And very racist ….

   Love making a visit here for my lunch. Just wanted to write a review to say thank you to the man who was working at the bakery section this afternoon. I love the smoked ham and emmental sandwich and was a bit sad when it wasn’t available on the shelves. I managed to pluck up the courage to ask him if he had any available at the back, and happened to make one for me from scratch! It’s a little thing, but really made my day so thank you :)

   Went in a few weeks ago. Was a long queue and no one at the till. Was about 20 minutes until close and staff just by the door on their phones. Only when we made a comment did someone finally hop on to the till. Tesco in Victoria centre probably the better option for service and price.

   I'm always fascinated to visit little waitrose mainly to get my usual pineapple and apple juice. It is a beautiful, "healthy-living" kinda shop in the heart of Nottingham city. Their stocks range from bakery products to confectionery, wines, non GM fruits, flowers etc. The shop is adorned with very cautious security staff and other readily available attendants. The checkout point allows for self-help as well as cashier assistance.
