A must if you live in the meadows. It has been long awaited, fresh fruit and vegetables. Fresh Hala meat , with traditional butchers at your service. Fair prices and the fresh somasa that they sell are super tasty, delivered everyday and locally sourced. Very pleasant staff and helpful.excellent service.
A fabulous veritable range of foods from across the world. The bakery section is an absolute gem: however after visiting the butchers' twice I would not suggest doing so at all. On the first occasion the chicken seemed a bit off but I was able to cook it enough to feed to my dog. The second time, I spent about £10 on meat for the week, brought it straight home and into the fridge within minutes, yet my partner got food poisoning from it. We now have a week's worth of lamb that I don't even want to feed to my dog. Very disappointing, food waste is awful anyway, and when on a budget it is a huge setback for the household. Had it not been for these incidents I would give 5 stars.
Top quality goods at very decent prices. After spending years dealing with the Premier down the road (where the till person often focuses on watching telly while they slowly get round to serving you!), its so refreshing to experience excellent customer service and respectful staff in my local. They will always offer to bag your goods for you, and YOU CAN PAY BY CARD!
Fantastic selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, better quality and prices than supermarkets. There's also a meat counter at the back and the shop itself is well stocked with reasonably priced essentials. Staff are all pleasant and unlike Premier down the road you can pay by card.
