Got my hair removed here a few weeks ago. Normally they do a good job and I leave quite happy. I've always had quite long/messy hair but the guy I got took far more off than I would have liked. I don't think it's a "bad haircut" I just didn't ask for a dramatic makeover.
Great service again, I was considerably late for my appointment due to work but the guys squeezed me in and got it done to the normal high standards. Highly recommended!

I got a skin Fade done by Chris, Chris is not only a complete Fade master but he is also a gentleman who would do anything for anyone to help them. The fade was so well done and so fast. Booked a slot today and this was my first time at Zakks... I went for a hair cut and beard trim/styling.... I had the privilege of meeting Adam who was very professional and done a fantastic job with both hair and beard.. I look forward to my next appointment with Adam. I've been to many Turkish barbers who rush and make a balls of my hair/beard as they rush and have no care for what u have asked for they simply do what they like in the quickest way they can. Today however Adam actually showed he cares about what he is doing and had me leaving the shop with a better style of hair and beard than I had in mind as I trusted him to give his own spin on it. I was not disappointed I tell u that.. I highly recommend visiting Zakks and I highly recommend Adam as he was such a good guy
What a great barbers. We brought our two year old for a cut and explained to the lady working that he doesn't like getting hair cut. She was excellent at settling him and cut his hair without him getting too upset.
AVOID AVOID AVOID! Booked an appointment for 3:30pm for my 3 year old son and sat waiting until 3:50pm to be seen (which I understand - these things happen). During the 20 minute wait my son sat good as good watching his iPad. Sat down in the chair with my son on my knee & got his gown on. My son still isn’t 100% happy when getting his hair cut. When the barber reached for the clippers my son became a bit agitated - at this point another barber stepped in and told me “if he’s going to cry we can’t cut his hair”. When I challenged this, apparently it is because of COVID. She then added if he wouldn’t sit on his own they wouldn’t cut it (how they expect a 3 year old to sit on his own & not cry at all while getting his hair cut by a stranger in a mask is beyond me) again because of COVID. All this despite the fact we went to the very same barbers & sat in the vary same chair for an appointment with the very same barber 4 weeks ago (when COVID restrictions were actually stricter!!) and got a successful hair cut on a slightly upset 3 year old. If you need a hair cut for a child, take it from me this IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!
Booked a haircut for me and my son, was just about to get it cut when I was told they only use clippers for a "hair cut" and that if I wanted scissors used I needed to book a "scissor cut". Apparently out of 3 staff only one can use scissors and she couldn't do it. The only options I had when booking was a "fade cut" or a "hair cut", no option for anything else. Also when booking there was no description of what a hair cut included so assumed like anyone else, this was a hair cut using scissors. No option was given to rebook or come back, just a sorry no and that was it. The girl going to cut my hair was really nice, but the booking process is a joke and the other girl made me feel like an idiot.
