I’m disappointed with the level of customer service provided by a staff member named Keran (tall guy). He was positioned at the self-serve kiosks (16/12/2025) but did not offer any assistance or acknowledge customers who were clearly struggling or needing help. This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed this behaviour, but on this occasion there were no more than two customers at the kiosks, so there was no obvious reason not to assist. It’s concerning that management allows a staff member to remain in a customer-facing role when they are not being helpful or approachable. In addition, the use of headsets by staff, including the store manager, for inappropriate personal conversations creates an unprofessional atmosphere. It makes customers feel uncomfortable and reluctant to ask for help. Overall, the lack of engagement and professionalism is disappointing. Customer service needs to improve significantly.

I had a disappointing experience at Aldi today with a staff member named Kieran who was supervising the self-serve checkouts. He was very unprofessional and unhelpful. There were only two customers using the self-serve machines, yet he was more focused on talking through his headset with a colleague about personal matters rather than assisting customers. I asked a very simple question, but he did not make any effort to help or even move from where he was standing. It felt like customers were not a priority at all. If staff are assigned to the self-serve area, they should be there to assist customers when needed. I hope the management team takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour witnessed today. Alexander the store assistant manager stopped a man who had a rucksack at the packing area in front of customers and pulled his bag off him to search it. The man denied shoplifting . He had not been stealing and Alexander did not apologise . Then Alexander went to work on the self checkouts talking on a phone swearing ( f word) in front of small children. Shocking behaviour

Imagine going to a store for years, where I shop for my family and spend hundreds per year, to have a disgusting store "assistant' target me (twice now in the last couple months), by telling me to take minimal item to the self checkout, then make a big drama about it and start been aggressive when I say I'm ok to just pay where I am. I then get 3 other store people jump to her aid, make me out to be the aggressor when I get upset that this person is been rude to me, and kick me out the store, ban me, and call the police and lie that I threatened them. I've never been so angry in my life! I'm taking this all the way down the legal route. I wouldn't set foot back into that place if you offered me the jackpot lotto win! I wasn't able to take the best picture as I was stood outside the store and the reflection on the window didn't help, but here's a pic of the horrible thing working there. You may recognise her Unbelievable!

Well layed out store. Friendly staff on the checkout. Easy to get in and get out with items needed. Good for quick shops. Car park is quite small and fills up at peak times. Battery recycling on packing area near store exit. Stock levels can sometimes be low on fresh fruit and vegetables. The store has recently been updated to the new layout used at Top Valley and Mapperley stores. Also now has 8 self service tills. Still visiting and using. It is still an excellent store with great staff. Staff are friendly and very welcoming.

I do like Aldi but the only complaint I would like to make is that the fruit is not nice,I have been buying fruit from Aldi for a few weeks now and I won't be buying it again from here

Been going here since it opened, but over the past 6 months it has gone down hill. Some of the newer staff haven't got the time to help you with certain things. Wanted to us the toilet on several occasions and there was no toilet paper. When I asked a male member of staff today he said he didn't have time to sort it. I suffer from a condition that you get stomach cramps and need the toilet quickly . In the event of not getting to us a toilet it can be very painful and at times accidents happen lucky i made it home with some very bad pains which will last all day. I sure your cleaners should be checking them before you open . This was on 45 minutes on a Sunday morning after the store opened.

Stocks all the main items for a weekly shop and more besides, quality of the unknown brands are very good and all at a good price. One niggle is just lately they have started hiding similar items in different locations such as lettuce tomatoes and cucumber which should be together which means a lot of searching probably in the hope you will see something and buy with your belly and not your needs.

This store is always busy but queues are managed well. Lots of staff in hand to assist if needed. Usually plenty of stock, and good Aldi value. Could do with more baskets though. There are never any at the door as its so busy.
