   I arrived at the nail salon as a walk in and waited around an hour which was expected. I was then sat down with one of the male nail artists. I showed him a photo of the nails that I wanted and he started doing my nails. He asked was the length okay and I said yes but quickly changed my mind and asked could I have them a tiny bit shorter. This clearly annoyed him as he muttered something under his breath and cut them all very quickly and unevenly. I apologised multiple times and he ignored me. He then filed the nails into big chunky squares instead of the shape that I wanted in the photo. He asked me what colours would I like and I asked him could he just copy the colours from the photo; which he wouldn’t do and just kept telling me to choose the colours. I couldn’t go through the colours because he was filing my nails, then he randomly got up and swapped seats with the woman who works there. I felt like he was quite rude and didn’t want to do my nails. I showed the woman the photo of the nails I wanted and I just felt pressured to pick random colours because I couldn’t find the ones similar to the photo. She painted my nails very quickly and I think the flowers have been done quite poorly. I don’t think they look like the photo that I asked for. I was then charged £42, when all my nails in the past from there have been £30-£35. I was very confused at why they were so expensive compared to the rest of the times I had went as they were very short and didn’t take long to do. They were also filed unevenly and are very sharp, they actually hurt to touch my hand with. The first photo is the nails I asked for. Based on the other bad reviews I didn’t even want to query the price. I’m just disappointed as I was really looking forward to getting my nails done.

   So I took my mum here hoping for a relaxed experience. Don't get me wrong - it was fine. The technician who worked on mum was lovely and very patient with her (it was her first time at a salon). But the lady who did mine? You can check the photos. I asked for the second picture - she said she couldn't do it. So then I have her some more designs. Couldn't do those either. So I asked for something plain like what you see in the other picture. She was so rude to me for changing my mind because *SHE* COULDN'T do what I wanted - so she's upset with me for having to change my mind on the design because she couldn't do what I had initially decided on. First of all - I'm allowed to change my mind. Second - I'm paying for a service, not just a set of nails. The way you deal with customers should be nicer. Again, It looks fine. It's not ugly. But what I'm saying is that I could have done this at home, by myself. It's untidy close up, and it's uneven. It was done in a hurry and wasn't taken care over. The overwhelming sense was that she was simply unwilling to do good customer service. Unwilling to take her time, unwilling to listen to what I wanted, and unwilling to deliver good service and care. Again, the guys were lovely. Really nice and kind. But this isn't the first bad review I have seen of this lady. Take on some of the feedback please. And thank you to the guy who took care of my mum :)
