This is a large, well designed supermarket. The (male and female) staff who served me on three occasions were really nice and helpful, which is the case in many retail outlets throughout Nottingham-a real plus. Recommended for cheap (as in ‘well priced) goods.
I have had lots of terrible experience at this particular LIDL. I have been shopping there for years and there is a particular security staff that appears to be stalking me. He has been observed walking closely around me whenever I shopped to the extent that my older child observed it today. I was there sometimes ago with my little child on toilet training and asked if he could use the rest room but the staff said no. I will never shop there again.
Good small Lidl. Not my favourite in Nottingham (Carlton Road and Beechdale Road), but they do have both carry and wheel baskets (unlike Beechdale, which only has wheel ones). They don't have chocolate milk any more - hence 4 stars. 5 stars if you want strawberry milk lol. A lot of students at this one, due to the location. Polite staff. Props to you if you work here.
Fruit and veg was very good and much better than I thought and the pastry products good too all reasonably priced
Allowing people with trollies to use the self serve tills is a little strange as not enough room to place their items in packing area and why people in groups or couples feel the need to stand next to the person using the till but not actually doing anything is quite annoying due to lack of of space, only 4 of the 9 self serve take cash (why I have no idea) but also this can cause bottlenecks, apart from that the store is clean, well stocked with has very efficient staff
Nothing wrong with them. The problem is, they always run out of stuff. Probably because it's well located with good connection of buses. Handle to everyone. The other Lidl a bit far away is the opposite. No well connected, away location. Better stocked since not much people gets there.
Not a mega market but you’ll find everything you want...i love it ,especially the bakeries and food corners (with many many options of meat and chicken, plane or prepared for you to cook).... Its clean,well arranged and the customer service is good... Very easy to reach, just at the bus stop, and available wheel chair entry. Happy to have it beside my house
